My son graduated tonight from GCU with his BSN in Science degree!!! 🥰🥳 They are an awesome University. I know, because I graduated from there also back in Spring of 1990 🥰🥳 My son is now a nurse just like me. I'm sooo proud of him💖
My family and I will forever be fans of GCU Basketball 🏀 🥰The games are the best and the stadium has one of the best sound systems I've heard!!!🤩 The fans are spectacular and I love the camaraderie amongst the team members and the crowd!!!!
Love this University! Honestly appreciate the focus on true purpose in life, character building, education from multiple viewpoints/ angles, the quality of instruction I’ve received over the years and help from the Student Counselors. Also the curriculum has very practical, real world application. Everything has been exceptional. Soon to graduate! Stoked!
Fabulous, beautiful campus and Christ centered education. My son's GPA at Washington State 2.4. Thru 3 years at GCU 3.85.
My son wanted to take a tour but decided it was way to hot as we are from Washington. So we asked if we could just go see the baseball field and they found someone that happily took us over. He loved it he even got a seasoned baseball.
I was a first-generation college student and completed my BS in Applied Management at GCU using my military benefits, I never thought I would complete an undergrad. Thanks to GCU's helpful team Cheri Ramo and Laurie Meidl at the time for shepherding me through the program. I did not stop there, I completed Master of Science in Leadership with emphasis in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, with the same great graduation team. After GCU built my confidence I tried my hand at a State school, the University of Oklahoma. GCU more than prepared me for the challenges I faced at OU. I decided to return in 2024 and completed my Master of Business Administration -- it was a tremendous program and the most challenging one I have completed. Any time I need additional education and training I always return to GCU and recommend anyone seeking college education to attend this University. Okay, I am done glazing them now.
I have several family members that attend GCU or have graduated from GCU (sister, brother in law, niece, daughter, etc.). Everyone here has had a fantastic time. The faculty were all very professional, the service and support is A+. It's great to have a Christian university that also focuses on robust online programs, master's programs and doctorate programs. Additionally- they also offer science and engineering programs which very few Christian universities offer. Best of all, they're affordable and put students first.
I had a great time as an online student at GCU. I was able to double up on my classes and really worked hard to complete my MBA in 10 months. My counselors were great to me and always returned my calls. I wish I had researched this place for my undergraduate degree. I am a 3.84 GPA student and seriously considering my Doctorate here. Looking at the reviews it sounds allot like people did not have the right team behind them. I highly recommend Kimberly Lenz and Paul Brady. I graduated in April and finished up June 3rd. Thank you for a great experience. Lopes Up!
If it was an option to give a school or review zero stars, I would that's what the school deserves zero stars. I transferred, thinking it would be a better option for my Elementary education degree, even though it was a top-rated school. The school is a complete joke. They respect students but don't care about you. They only care about the money that they get from you attending their classes. When I was a student here, I was also in the hospital with a medical condition that I couldn't control and was hospitalized for roughly a week and a half. The school told me my education was more important than my health, while I'm lying in a hospital bed trying to complete assignments on time because I was told that I needed to be done, no matter what. I know I have leeway to submit work while in the hospital, as long as I can provide proof of hospitalization. The school's respect for courtesy was none. Teachers don't care, and they don't give you leeway on anything either.
I was invited to an orientation as a prospective PhD candidate. This was a pleasant trip and very informative. We had a full day of activities and they included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent itinerary which was time conscious and included a campus tour. We had the opportunity to visit the campus bookstore which was a treat. I have applied for the upcoming semester and encourage all students seeking a BA, MA and especially PhD to seriously consider a Grand Canyon University. The admission counselors were very helpful and answered all my questions with no hesitation and basically the follow up that I have received since I left the campus is incredible. That type of support is really needed will you try to finish your PhD and I am excited to be called a member of the Grand Canyon University community. Go Lopes!
