Packed house for Graduation! Directions were good, easy in and out though Camelback was very slow with all the traffic with the 4pm session. Great job by all the workers and of course the Graduates!

Son just started attending this year. He is really enjoying his first week. They had many fun activities scheduled to help those new on campus feel welcome and meet new people.

This writer and his family are attending the Grand Canyon graduation. I want to thank the campus security for their consideration and assistance in dealing with a disabled relative that was also attending the graduation. He was curious, and they were always professional—a great handout to the campus security for being the best they can be!

Attended Graduation for our grand daughter. We were able to use the lower level handicap parking. The distance to be pushed on a wheelchair was great. Staff got us to the area for wheelchairs and we had a clear view and even a screen to see the stage activity. Made our day very easy.

Not sure what has taken me so long to leave this review. I love this school! I can here as a transfer student in 2017, and since then have completed my bachelors degree while meeting some of my favorite people on Earth, including my wife! Since graduating in 2019, I started working for the university, and am pursuing my Master of Divinity. I love this school! Love their heart for the Valley, and the Kingdom!

My experience with Grand Canyon University has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of professionalism and respect shown toward students. Communication from staff has often come across as impatient, sarcastic, and unhelpful. There seems to be very little understanding that many students are balancing school with work, family, and real-life responsibilities. Instead of support, the tone can feel accusatory—especially when it comes to attendance. There is a quick push to report students for missing a few days, yet when students reach out for help or clarification, the responses are often delayed and delivered with an unprofessional tone. One particularly concerning experience involved Valerie De La Torre, who inserted herself into communication that did not involve her. The messages received were not only unnecessary but also came across as unprofessional and inappropriate for an academic setting. If an institution expects students to be professional, then that same standard should be upheld by faculty and staff. Being adult learners does not mean students should be spoken to in a dismissive or disrespectful manner. Grand Canyon University promotes itself as a supportive learning environment, but based on my experience, there is a serious disconnect between that image and how students are actually treated.

As a parent we had 2 graduate from GCU and 1 attended Liberty. GCU much more affordable and easier to navigate, register for classes, etc than Liberty. Our Liberty kid left after just 1 semester. So I appreciate GCU for making a degree much more affordable than other private schools.

Grand Canyon University, centered at its vibrant 3300 W Camelback Rd campus, is frequently characterized in my personal and professional circles as a "catalyst for purpose-driven excellence" that remarkably fuses a faith-based mission with the high-octane energy of a modern research hub. From numerous insightful dialogues with local entrepreneurs and nursing graduates, a clear consensus emerges that the institution operates as a uniquely student-centric, merytorical engine that treats the synergy between ethical leadership and market-ready skills as its primary civilizational duty. My acquaintances often emphasize that the pedagogical energy on the Phoenix campus is exceptionally spirited and immersive, offering a rare sanctuary where scholars are empowered to solve complex community challenges under the guidance of mentors who are true practitioners in their respective fields. Public sentiment throughout the Southwest remains impressively high, viewing "GCU" not merely as a school, but as a visionary architect of the "Lope-strong" community that remains both academically rigorous and financially accessible. Reflecting on these recurring, authentic testimonials, I perceive this academy as a distinguished powerhouse of human progress that executes its mission with a level of cultural audacity and analytical depth that is genuinely refreshing. Ultimately, aligning one’s academic journey with Grand Canyon University is regarded by those in the know as a strategic masterstroke for any ambitious individual determined to command the complexities of the 21st century within an environment that prizes both character and competence.

Everyone's experience when it comes to school is going to be different, however this college is a great place. Like anywhere you attend, your demeanor can make or break you. Plenty of activities to get involved in and a great place together friends from all over the world.

We were at the Graduation ceremony on April 2026. Thousands of people, the crowd control was impressive, from staff to students everybody was helpful and kind. It's great the fact that is a closed campus with security check points. My granddaughter had a wonderful time at GCU.
