I love Hy-Vee this place always has a great selection at produce that's very good quality very good selection of produce and food in general and they have a good restaurant
Bought breakfast inside Holly cow biscuits in gravy were fantastic
I love this store absolutely spotless. Everything is vary neat and clean. They also have many things I wouldn't expect or find elsewhere. I am in love with the Ellsworth cooperative creamery cheese curds. Over all their prices aren't as low as say walmart but the quality, variety, and atmosphere is much better.
Best place around for food. Organic and or hot, they had everything I needed. RedX=Nope, Aldi=Nope. Hy-Vee is the best option for food. Clean well put together store with plenty of organic food, ready to eat fruit and veg options. Will shop again, would recommend!
There are five people in front just talking to each other. None of them wanna help customers. Your self check out has a line a mile long And yet your prices keep going up. We don’t feel we’re getting a good deal at Hy-Vee

I visited the pharmacy. The techs were excellent! They were able to answer questions & they were super friendly. Update: 5/10/23 I was grocery shopping. I'm really becoming a Hy-Vee shopper. It took me a few years, but I find their prices aren't that bad, food selection is good, their meats are great...a bit more expensive, but for the quality...I don't mind. The workers are super friendly and the parking lot & lines are NOT a hassle.
Helpful smile in every isle...pretty much true. The staff are attentive, but the managers seem to move things around randomly, so sometimes difficult to find what I am looking for. Lucky there are signs that direct me. Good choices of food, and I find the hyvee brand to be perfectly fine.
Ask employees for help at your own risk. The young girls there seem to only be there to look cute and socialize with their other co workers. They seem to have a slight attitude if you "bother" them with questions. The white tall male manager seems as though he has more of an interest in protecting and coddling his employees than ensuring good customer service. On a good note they do have some nice helpfull employees but the overall vibe seems to be dont bother the hyvee family(The staff). Update: They are not bad. I still believe most the young ladies don't have a sincere willingness to help you but I've discovered that's most young ladies in America not just Hyvee. Hyvee does tend to have a culture somewhat catered to themselves as associates. For example, if you go to a place like Costco it seems like the costumer is the priority, they will literally walk you to the item you are looking for. But at Hy-Vee it seems more like the "Hy-Vee family" and the Hy-Vee culture is slightly more the priority than the costumer. For example, I asked an associate to show me an item I couldn't find and he became visibly angry. I guess I disturbed hyvee business in some way. I as a costumer have learned how to manuver around the Hy-Vee culture to try not to disturb the Hy-Vee family and Hy-Vee culture. On a high note the Hy-vee brand raw chicken is great quality. It's always tender. They also have the best deal I've seen on the 8.4 oz 4 pack of red bull.
