Meat and liquor departments are my favorite sections of the store. Most people that work there are helpful and courteous. This Hy-Vee location also has a post office inside for added convenience.
Has become quite expensive compared to other options with no added value. They love to change the layout of the store somewhat frequently which is a bit annoying as nothing is ever consistently in the same spot. Over the years they have decided to add a giant bath bomb section and then a huge candy aisle which are absolutely a waste of space. No one ever shops in those areas. Lastly it is exceptionally annoying to buy any sort of alcohol here as the checkout experience is always painful. Im all for kids working but I am not all for 1 single manager having to scan every alcohol item for all the checkout lanes. I also end up frequently bagging my own groceries as they never seem to have baggers in the check out lanes.
The store is always clean and usually has everything I'm looking for and then some! The choices are better than some of the other local stores. Staff is always friendly. We stop in for those items my normal grocery store does not have, as it this one is not near as close but man do I love the options here! Wish they offered a scan and go option or Caper carts like Price Chopper does. Makes shopping so easy and efficient.
Wide isles and well displayed shelves. Bakery is great! There are tons of choices. There are always friendly associates to assist if needed. Large Keto section! Deli is full of good foods from farms and some exotic cheeses from around the world. You guys have a lot going on, but you manage it well.
Wahlburgers is my new lunch spot! Team has has great customer service Gluten options.
I go there primarily because of their gas points discount. They have a preferred pharmacy for my insurance company. Nice people, good selections.

Many of their freezer doors are broken, causing them to get moisture all over them and on the floor. On humid days, you can't even see through the glass. Makes me wonder how much maintenance they are doing on the refrigeration we can't see. Pretty gross. That mixed with the crummy parking lot entrances leads to a poor experience over all.
