Hy-Vee is a great place to shop! The workers are very nice and helpful. The store stays well-stocked, so I can always find what I need. It’s also easy to navigate, making shopping quick and stress-free. I love the perks and the savings on gas—such a great bonus! I’ve also enjoyed the home delivery service when I’ve been sick and unable to get out. They even delivered earlier when they weren’t busy, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!
The store environment, for me, felt dark and sort of dingy. The pathway through the store felt chaotic. Isles were in multiple sections with lots of cross traffic.
Fantastic staff and wonderful food options. My checker Eli was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the store and helped me find a specific seasoning I was looking for.
This store has gone down hill in every way since opening. The hot food selection and taste is terrible. The employees in the liquor department are rude. They keep discontinuing services, and used to have a community America bank. Now they discontinued the postal services as well. This all while having the highest prices of any grocery store.
I would give a five stars but this particular Hy-Vee or maybe all Hy-Vee's just aren't the same as they once were. Don't get me wrong this is my preferred Hy-Vee in that metro area. However the way they have redesigned the store makes it easy for some items to find and a lot harder to find others. Plus the last few times I've been some of the employees have been a little rude they look you did in the face they don't speak and then if you speak they still don't speak. Since I have PTSD I have to always tell myself just keep walking. These people have got to become friendlier.
A couple months ago I was moving to fast and didn't realize I left my purse inside the grocery cart. Just as I made it to another store and was getting out the car I seen my purse wasn't with me. Just as I was dialing Hyvee they called me to tell me they had it. I just want to thank the honest person who was pulling carts that day thank you so much. As a woman we carry our lives in our purses lol. I also want to compliment the bakery department. I can truthfully say I have never had a bad tasting cake come from you the bakery and this is at actually at every Hyvee. Every caked we've ever ordered is delicious. This store is always clean and the employees are always helpful and kind. I like when you get in line and every cashier asks if you found everything alright. Keep up the outstanding work you all do!
The pharmacy staff is so attentive and helpful in my Father’s needs. They know his name when we call for inquiries. It feels like an old fashioned pharmacy where people love their job!
