If I could give this place zero stars I would. Our group decided to try this place since some of our party enjoy their brewed beer, and were excited to try their German inspired food. When we came in there was a sign to seat ourselves. We found a high top table towards the back patio. When we approached we didn’t see chairs, but saw some bar stools in the corner. So we thought we have to grab them for our party. When I approached the table with few bar stools, a man came behind me and yanked them out of my hand and yelled they were for the patio and we would have to seat out there. Then proceeded to go back behind the bar while rolling his eyes. Honestly we didn’t know we weren’t allowed to use them. It would have been nice if the rude staff member knew how to speak to customers and just said “unfortunately those stools were for the patio area as these were standing tables.” We just proceeded to seat outside since the staff member made a scene in front of other customers. Furthermore several people apart of our party overheard our waiter and the classless staff member talk about our table since someone in our party doesn’t drink and asked for an “ice tea.” Which by the way we were told they can just get water from 2 orange jugs sitting outside. I guess you can’t come here to try their food if you are not a beer drinker! At this point none of us wanted to stay after being berated in front of other customers and talked about. As we tried to get our waiters attention he ignored us multiple times. We literally had to track him down by the front door entrance to cash out the couple beers our table ordered. This was our first and last time coming here nor would I be suggesting this place to no one. If you like having terrible customer service and overhearing staff talk about you then this might be the place for you!

My wife reserved a table for a birthday gathering for her and her twin. They require a $250 tab or they debit your card. They arrived early to grab our table. Over a three hour period guests arrived, ordered food and drinks. The beer was good according to those that could drink. The food was good. Our waitress was awesome. The accordion and spoons entertainment was spot on for a German atmosphere. We played cards and we were having a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon. Suddenly without provocation, incident or warning, we were required to tab out. A new waitress, which was very rude to our guest, made some unfounded remarks to our friend. He requested a manager, as he was told we all had to tab out and leave. Eight of our guests had just arrived and placed their first order. They didn't even have a chance to order food. I haven't figured out why were asked to leave. We didn't have any unruly or drunk members in our party. Having never been asked to leave a bar before, is it customary to have a waitress walk up and toss 8 clipboards with tabs on the table and say figure it out? Unfortunately, I will no longer recommend this local establishment. There are too many other local bars in the area to risk a ruined afternoon here.

I don't leave reviews much, but.... WOW, best beer and best beer tour I have been on. We sampled 4 different beers during the tour and each one had its different aromas and flavors that you could smell and taste instantly. Our tour guide was very knowledge and deep dove into the Bier making process. If you have the hour to take the tour I highly encourage it you will learn a lot and notice the difference between what a bier should be and what a "beer" is. I will be coming back.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences dining in KC I’ve had . Was seated and ordered our drinks and app quickly but I then waited 45 minutes from the minute we got our appetizer before the waitress came back and told the people behind us that they were no longer serving food . Not only did she pay no mind to my family of 5 that had been waiting but when I was visibly upset by this that I had been there for over an hour she took another 15 minutes to bring my check . QR code for ordering didn’t work as well. I will not return
