We took the tour for a friends birthday, then hung out and enjoyed the food and beer for a few hours The tour was absolutely amazing. For a price of $10, most of the people were a bit tipsy and educated on the brewing process. Definitely worth it, and I’m thinking about making this a recurring tour visit. The beers are all great and very purposeful. Whether you’re a novice or a beginner, the education is amazing. Outside of the tour, the staff is on top of it and willing to do whatever it takes for you to have a great experience. I strongly recommend a visit.
KC Bier Co. is an absolute favorite, especially if you love authentic, German-style biers. Their Helles is incredibly crisp and refreshing, easily making this a five-star destination. The taproom and outdoor space are fantastic and incredibly welcoming for dogs, making it the perfect spot to hang out.
I'm a big fan of the German style beers and this brewery has got them all down. Their draft beers are always cold and fresh. The location is a great place to sip a few with friends or by yourself. The staff are friendly and willing to let you try before you buy.
Whenever I ask a friend to meet up for a cold beverage, I suggest KCBC. Since visiting Germany a decade ago, I often have a hankerin' for some authentic German beer and a bratwurst. This place doesn't disappoint. Their beer garden outside is a lovely place to spend a late afternoon chatting away with some friends or co-workers. Helles is my favorite but most of their beers are excellent representations of German brewing. Prost!

Great place to come hangout and grab a drink. Very family friendly. They also have interesting events happening all the time. The only place in KC to find something so heavily German inspired.
The best bier and Bierhalle in the Midwest, hands down. Imported ingredients from Germany. The quality and craftsmanship in their bier are amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding, as well. Best German bier around—if you’ve not been here, you are missing out!
No fluff statement in this review. This beer company brews the best beer in America. No other brewing companies top this place off. Drinking their beer reminded me of my time in Germany. On top of the amazing beer, the food and service tops this place off. My personal top 3 beer here is edelweiss, pure pils, and hellas lager. Lastly, please play some music.
This place has a sleek, industrial look to it--not something I'd expect from a German-themed joint. We dropped in for a couple of beers, some wurst (they're okay), and to watch some football on their televisions. Unfortunately, they had turned off the television audio and were playing bland/typical pop music. The entire experience felt very sterile, characterless. I'm a fan of KC Bier's brews, but I wasn't so wowed by this drinking establishment. I have no complaints about the service, and the place seemed extremely clean--hence the four stars.
Highly recommend if you like beer that actually tastes good. Their food menu isn't huge but has a nice selection. The beer cheese soup and pretzel was tasty. Try the Dunkel, a smooth brown beer. My favorite.
