I loved my short visit to the Kansas City Bier Company. Tried the Eiz Weiss and loved it. Spicy and complex – a full bodied darker wheat beer. The atmosphere was friendly and upbeat. The space - with high ceilings - is quite airy with a European beer hall. Feel to it. Something like modern German. The bar is well designed. Long table seating is reminiscent of those German beer halls. I’ve enjoyed every beer I’ve had from the Kansas City Bier Company, and I’m looking forward to more innovation from them in the future.
Great German style restaurant/brewery! Very family/kid friendly with lots of outdoor seating and play space. Incredible beers options with traditional German foods. They even have vegan options! The vegan brat is great, and there is a lot more!
The beer is outstanding! but the service at the brewery is terrible. after waiting five minutes for a host I went up to the bar.... and the bartender is rather surly today.... Do yourself a favor and just get it from the grocery store! It's really good beer!

Wunderbar! Travel to Germany no longer required. Can't overstate how good the beer, food, and service was. Hits the absolute sweet spot before a craft brewery becomes too big. Maybe it's just food management. Regardless KC Bier is fantastic. Two years later, still wonderful.
Outstanding beers and and a small but tasty food selection. A must stop when I'm in town. Combine that with good service and a great atmosphere and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
The service was excellent. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, especially when they have live music because it gets so loud you can barely hear yourself think. They could have done something to make it more hospitable instead of industrial. I was enticed by the promise of beers that I can't get at my retail store... not so much the case. They only had 3 beers that I can't get in bottles right now. I was not impressed by the selection. Also, mixing beer and Sprite doesn't count as a "new beer." I can do that at home. However, the food was rather good and the musician who was playing made it worth the trip.

As someone who owns a pub and spends a lot of time around great food and beer, I’m always looking for places that get the details right and KC Bier delivers. The beer was outstanding from the first sip. Clean, crisp, and brewed exactly the way German-style beers should be. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they pour. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just someone who enjoys a really good lager, you’ll find something worth coming back for. The food was just as impressive. We tried the giant pretzel with beer cheese and house pickles, along with the bierocks, and both were fantastic. The pretzel was perfectly baked, the beer cheese had great flavor, and the bierocks were packed with savory filling wrapped in soft, golden bread. Simple food done exceptionally well. What stood out most was the atmosphere. It had that authentic beer hall feel, comfortable, welcoming, and built around enjoying good company over great beer. It’s the kind of place where one pint easily turns into two.
