The Portland Food Carts, Pods, and Patios tour was a great way to enjoy some of Portland’s best bites with a fun foodie tour guide! Our guide, Herb, made us feel like friends from the start, and introduced us to some fantastic food to go with some Portland history and an easy neighborhood stroll. I am a creature of habit with food carts/trucks - I always order Thai or Mediterranean. What I loved most was that Herb brought us food samples from carts I never would’ve tried on my own, and I loved every single one of the drinks and eats placed in front of me! Although all were delicious, my personal fave were the Pelmeni dumplings at Hawthorne Asylum food carts. We had a blast with our friendly tour mates from North Portland, too. Definitely recommend, and found it a great value for the food and tour!

We had a wonderful time. There was such a variety of foods from different cultures. So much food you couldn’t eat it all. Our tour guy, Herb, was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We loved him. Thank you for the experience!

A Flavourful Journey through Portland's Food Cart Scene - Five-Star Food Tour! My wife and I recently joined the Lost Plate Food Tours in Portland for their Food Cart Tour, and had a great (and filling) afternoon! First, the selection of food carts curated by Lost Plate was awesome. Each stop along the way offered a unique dish, showcasing the diverse flavours of Portland's food cart scene. From savoury to sweet, every bite left us wanting more. This tour was a perfect blend of local favourites and hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The tour experience was amplified by our guide, Herb. His passion for great food and how it fits into Portland’s culture and history added a layer of interest to each stop. Lost Plate Food Tours was a memorable experience and we left with our bellies full and our minds enriched with cool local stories. If you are in Portland and want to experience the city's food culture, I recommend Lost Plate Food Tours and their Food Cart Tour. It's a nice five-star culinary afternoon.

Went on the Coffee & Donut tour. I learned so much, enjoyed the food and beverages and got to chat with great people. Mind expanding! I fell in love with Portland, and realized that I never liked donuts because I hadn't had a good one, which the tour changed. Couldn't have asked for more.

I went on this tour with Herb on the hottest day recorded in Portland, and it was amazing! They were super accommodating to starting earlier and making the tour work since we were only in town for a limited amount of time. We heard so many fun and interesting facts about Portland and ate so much amazing food. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a variety of tastes from Portland!

We did a winery tour with Lost Plate Food Tours and it was phenomenal. We visited 3 tasting rooms: Battle Creek, Erath, and Fullerton. The magical thing about this tour was that Michelle curated a fabulous mix of wineries- a larger commercial winery, a small local family winery, and one that is middle of the road. And the best part- all the wines were paired with small bites that were equally amazing!!!Michelle was very knowledgeable about Portland history and we really enjoyed learning about the city. If you are looking for g for a fun way to experience the city of Portland, this is it!!!

Such a fantastic tour! Herb is a wonderful guide - engaging, connected to the Portland food scene, and knowledgable about the specific carts and pods we visited - and every bite we had was delicious. Herb asked a couple of times what our favorite teste was, and it was impossible to choose. There wasn't one dud. :0) We have lived in the Portland area and visited more times than I can count, and we still hadn't been to any of the places we visited on the tour. We most certainly will be back!

Wow so much great food and Herb did a great job guiding us around the food cart pods! Our group of 3 so enjoyed everything- from the thai iced tea on the unusually warm day (from Portland) to the el pastor tacos to the chicken swarma and bavarian queen strawberry & cream waffle! Yum! this is the food cart tour to take in Portland for delicious food (with enough to take home for another meal or two!) Next I need to try the coffee and donut tour !
