The food tour was a lot of fun. An exciting 3 hour tour. Herb was a great tour guide who entertained, informed and helped us eat our way through Portland. The portions were huge so don’t eat before you go. Nice variety of food and it was all delicious. Herb even got me a to go box when I couldn’t eat another bite.
Herb was phenomenal. His knowledge of and passion for the Portland food scene was remarkable. He was very friendly and personable and we were particularly impressed that he remembered all of our names. We had many questions and Herb graciously and expertly answered them all. The variety of food offerings was a delight. As were the portions! We also appreciated the option to get a to-go box to take home any leftovers. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone - even non-alcoholic drinkers.
Our Portland Food Cart tour with Herb was incredible. We've lived in Beaverton for a year and a half now and really enjoyed finding some new favorite food spots in the area. Herb had incredible knowledge of the food, the chefs who made it, the history of the city, and much more. The poutine, street taco, and Belgian waffle were the favorites. We had an amazing time getting to know the other people in the tour and learning more about our new home!

Awesome experience! Herb, our tour guide, was very welcoming and knowledgeable about Portland and its food culture. The food selection was well rounded and learned a little bit about each dish and cooks thanks to Herb!
We just moved to Portland & wanted to get more familiar with the foodie scene. Our tour guide Herb did an amazing job making us feel welcomed & was a well of knowledge. The food was incredible (around 8 different & delicious dishes! ) but I think what really made it for me was how personable Herb was. You could tell how passionate he was about local food cart scene & the kind people who make it happen. Definitely don't hesitate to book a tour if you’re thinking about it !
I really enjoyed my time on the downtown Portland coffee and donuts tour. I learned so much and really enjoyed the company of the group. Book this tour, it's hands down one of the best in town! Michelle was an excellent tour host!
Michelle was our guide and I had a great time!! My bestfriend and I, along with 3 others, did the downtown donut/coffee tour. We learned so much about the history of coffee/donuts in Portland, each of the locally owned shops, and history of Portland in general. I’d say the price was worth it! We went to 5 different places either coffee/donut/ or a place that had both. Just a heads up, it’s a lot of caffeine and sugar! Lol but you’ll leave the tour feeling satisfied and full.
The coffee tour was awesome! Michelle was full of fun facts and did a great job of educating and entertaining the group! My husband and I can’t wait to book our next Portland tour with Lost Plate! Highly recommend that you do too!
Really fun tour uncovering some great wineries. Evangel was the perfect guide. She was knowledgeable about the wine AND Portland. We got a great history lesson as we walked from winery to winery. Highly recommend.
