One of the best lobster rolls I’ve had. Lobster was seasoned very nicely and bun toasted just right. Lobster bisque soup was pretty good too. Wish they offered some kind fried or grilled potatoes on the side, but the potato chips were fine. Friendly staff, pleasant dining area, and reasonable prices.
If you're in Philly and wanting a little piece of New England, stop by Luke's Lobster of Rittenhouse. The lobster roll flight is what you should get if you've never been. Once you figure out which roll you like best you can ask for that on a lobster roll. They will also make it warm if you ask for it. If not you'll get them cold with a little spread of mayo.
Food is great, but you are paying a premium for the lobster meat compared to someone who grew up eating lobster in Maine. Service is very kind and generous!
Got the seafood trio. Although each roll was small, they all provided a different flavor profile I enjoyed. Of course, the lobster roll being the best. Probably will go back with eyes on the 8oz lobster roll only. Place was clean and the staff was inviting.
Great little hidden gem. A little pricey for the lobster roll. It’s approx. the size of a hotdog roll. However it is delicious and worth the splurge. You can miss this place if you don’t look carefully as it sits in a basement type storefront. Will def be returning.
Insert Owen Wilson “oh wow” meme. Yeah Owen Wilson took over my body just to say that. The lobster were so fresh and sweet, it’s lightly salted and the flavor of the sea penetrates through. It’s also loaded, each mouthful is as satisfying as the first. And the bread was toasted and buttered to perfection, light and soft on the inside and scorched on the outside. It’s decent, hella decent.
Greta fast seafood spot. Small portions, order larger quantities.
It was good. Really good! There was alot of lobster in the split bun, (which could have been toasted more) Including many while claws. Meat was cold. Wish there was an option. Mac and cheese didn't have $11s worth of lobster- transfered some from my sandwich🙂, was good though. High priced. But I would stop by for another roll. Friendly staff. Cool spot to sit and watch the people walk by.
Walking down into the basement space of this row building in city...you cross the threshold and are transported to a fishing shanty in Maine. The menu was small, but it's all you need. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere was fun. I only gave 4 stars due to the lack of personality and social skills the staff possessed. They didn't welcome us, ask how our food was or even acknowledge we were leaving. A simple thanks for coming would have made a difference.
This is good food. Super quick. Good price
