On my road trip through Texas I really wanted to get a true Texan-made Cowboy hat and I found just that here in this store. I feel bad for forgetting the gentleman's name who helped me, but he was so nice and gave great recommendations and suggestions when it came to finding the perfect hat, and not just expensive hats either but all varieties. Never once did I feel like he was trying to upsell me or anything; he had the customer in mind and to that I tip my new hat to you, sir.
What can I say but I’m speechless, This will be the only place I go to get my hats shaped. I have never been treated with such respect and kindness when getting a hat shaped, this is not like going to Cavenders and waiting 5 min for the shaping to be done it is a whole experience James was just awesome to talk to during the shaping, just a great atmosphere…. I HIGHLY recommend a visit
James did an amazing job on my hat! I’ve never had a true hat made special for me. It’s perfect, he made the process so easy. I definitely recommend him to anyone who’s not exactly sure what they’re wanting he’ll get you where you need to be!

Not recommended for folks that are serious about a hat. I bought a straw hat, and the sales lady seemed young, very new, and was way too excited about the chance to shape it. "Oh, can I do it!?" Totally went against what I asked for, and did not seem to have much experience. Folks shouldn't be training on customers like that. Someone more experienced came over and tried to straighten it out, but I finally just asked for my hat back so I could shaped it at home. Seems like their hat sales are geared more to the tourist crowd. Try Cavenders or The Hat Store if you need an experienced and knowledgeable shaper.

I just want to say that Buck made my visit memorable this time. I live near by and always go in when I can but this time I met Buck and it all started with him complementing my custom hat. From there we went on talking about various things including info to buy a hat for my husband. He was just so knowledgeable and kind. And I really appreciate that! I didn’t get him a hat because they were out of stock, but I will definitely come back just to visit and buy from Buck!!

Visited yesterday with encouragement from my Aunt. I saw this beautiful moss green hat and I fell in love with but I decided not to buy. As we finished the visiting Stockyards we passed the store again and I just couldn’t stop thinking about that hat!! Buck helped me find it in the store again and I am now the proud owner of the moss green hat. Highly recommend at least stopping by and looking around. Maybe you’ll find your own “can’t stop thinking about it” item.
