Had the BEST experience creating my custom hat with James on Saturday, 11/9. Although he was in high demand, he found a way to work us into his schedule while ensuring we didn’t feel rushed. We are from out of town but will definitely be back thanks to James!
This store is perfect in every way. Great product line, great refreshments, and great staff! The mens department is a nice change of pace, shop it! Discount table back wall next to ladies restroom!
... If you are looking for cosplay in the west of your imagination, or it is just another Tuesday night in the saddle, this might be your shop... ... This was my third station on the great hat excursion of 2023, late summer edition, most definitely worth the layover... ... Touristy, absolutely, Kichy in the best way possible, with a new Urban cowgirl meets up with a retro Yellowstoner kinda vibe, if such is your desired outcome you can find it on these racks... ... While I did not find my next great hat I was impressed with what they had to offer, what I did find intereging was there collection of handkerchief and neckwear, from rough and tumble western to psychedelic nymph, truly a feast for the senses... ... Worthy of a second or third visit... ... My quest continues...

Misty was super helpful and didn't oversell. Unfortunately we did not buy but will definitely be back because of her. Had a hat that was beautiful but just not the right size. She was honest, helpful and amazing. Whish we could have found the right fit.

During our past few visits to the Fort Worth Stockyards, we have stopped in at Maverick Western Store. Both times we were impressed with the variety of merchandise, and especially with the friendly, professional sales associates. Jenna assisted us during our first visit, and we were happy to connect with her again a few weeks ago. She helped me choose an awesome pair of fancy boots by Old Gringo, and my husband discovered the R. Watson brand. Jenna was great with product details and helped him choose the Brass full quill ostrich with cognac goat top. He has garnered a lot of compliments when wearing them and they were comfortable right out of the box. The R. Watson brand boasts of " soft, broken-in feel" right out of the box and they have a cushioned support sole. We highly recommend a stop at Maverick Western Store when in the Stockyards and ask for Jenna!
Had one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had today at Maverick. I needed some help with an outfit for a big event, and Kendall made me look and feel like a million bucks. What a stylist! She also encouraged me to get my hat shaped up, so I made an appointment, came back after lunch, and wow did Zella get my hat on point! Absolutely astounded by the level of customer of service that I frankly just don’t see much anymore. Can’t wait to come back!
