This place is a joke. The dr came in laughing and joking in the hall way. Just to dismiss me if I die because this tooth ache you will never be able to practice again. All she cared about was her bottom line. Telling me this is not billable as an emergency. Then nonchalantly apologized. I’m in so much pain right now my whole face is on fire up into my head. No x-ray no proper exam, would not even offer an antibiotic, when ask was told no because this does not qualify billable as an emergency. Who are you to tell me what I’m going through is an emergency or not. My symptoms alone qualify. This place is a complete joke. My whole head is throbbing so bad I can barely feel like I can see. Memorial has always been top notch this place though is a joke especially the Dr on duty tonight. All she cares about is the money watch and see you never practice again due to neglectful due diligence. I’m not stoping here. Not an emergency but told to be seen by urgent care, when you claim to be urgent care!!
Was not happy with the service. I arrived at 6 am because of my pain and even though the place was empty, it took a while for them to take me in. I checked particularly on my insurance website that they were included in my network and that I wouldn't be hit with surprise charges after the services were rendered. I am not exaggerating, the doctor probably spent with me around 2-3 minutes to hear my story and check my shoulder. After that, I was sent to get some X-rays with a gentleman that treated me kindly and even gave me a blanket for the cold. When I came back, one of the nurses peaked his head and just asked me if I was in pain to which I told them I was. He came back 5 minutes later with 1 pill and a cup of water. After 20 minutes of waiting in there, the doctor came in to tell me there was no fracture and all I needed was rest. I was then discharged. I was there for maximum an hour for which the services would not have added to more than 12-15 minutes. I am now dealing with bills of over 6K and to top it off, the physician was a contractor so he billed separately for his 4 minutes over $1000. Oh, and the little pill they gave me for the pain, it was listed for $100+ in the bill. If you are registering in an insurance network, make sure to notify that the physicians ARE contractor and do not work with my particular insurance. Terrible experience and astonished in how they will milk out every single thing to make as much money as possible with a 12 minute appointment. I WOULD TRY TO GO TO YOUR REGULAR URGENT CARE FACILITY AND IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO GO TO THIS ONE, MAKE SURE THAT BOTH FACILITY AND PHYSICIAN ARE IN YOUR NETWORK IF YOU DONT WANNA BE STUCK WITH 7K BILLS FOR A 12 MINUTE APPOINTMENT.
I Have Never Been ThereYet! It was recommended by another Urgent Care! Because they didn’t accept my Insurance! I didn’t go that night! God was with me. It’s the same at the Hospital. The Memorial System should do better with who they Hire! Compassion Is Number One ☝🏽
I had the worst experience with their emergency room. I came in with a sever ankle sprain on a wednesday evening, it took 2 hours for me to be called back. While I was waiting I asked the front desk for ice which they refused to give me. Once I was taken back to a room, I wasn't seen for another 45 min by the doctor. He just looked at my foot and ordered an x ray. Still no ice to help with the immediate swelling. Finally 4 hours later I received the x ray results and they were ready to discharge me. They were looking for crutches to give me. I waited an additional 45min only for them to tell me they don't have any left. Will never come back here if I have an emergency. I'm pretty sure the wait time made my sprain worse. I should I have gone somewhere else or treated it at home had a I known how miserable this experience would be.
Usually there is no wait time, staff is friendly. The doctors are mostly great. I went here instead of the MMGHH to avoid a long ER wait. They took me back, told them what was going on, they gave me pain medicine pretty quickly, did some testing and told me they would be admitting me to the main hospital. No issues there. My issue was after being discharged I had an issue. I called the hospital they told me to come back in. I ended up back at this location only to get a doctor that seemed bothered that I was there, she didn’t take into account or seem concerned that I had just been discharged that afternoon. She didn’t take my concerns seriously and dismissed me.
Had an earring backing that became lodged inside the skin of my earlobe and started hurting really badly with signs of infection. Check in lady was very nice and efficient, no one was waiting at 7am, but the nurse and doctor were incredibly rude, dismissive of my pain and questioned why I didn’t first go to urgent care or my primary physician (who has a 2month wait). Neither the doctor or nurse even looked at my ear for more than a glance before refusing to do anything and told me to go see an ENT doctor. Found a doctor at a different facility who was able to numb my ear and remove the impacted backing and prescribe antibiotics. She was mortified that I was dismissed from this facility without receiving help. I am honestly traumatized by the treatment I received here and will not be back.
Went in Christmas Eve because my son was very sick. We where in & out so quickly! 5 Stars for that! Doctor recommended a pill instead of liquid which I will not get the pill for my son again he had a very hard time chewing & swallowing it. Everyone was very nice at the hospital. I did call 3 days later a woman answered the phone. I told her my son was having a hard time taking the pill & the taste was making him throw up. She told me to make my son take it anyway. I asked if I should go in again to get another form of medication she said to use my best judgement on what to do! She was just very rude & she could of been more polite! So my son is sick again & most likely from not being able to take the whole dosage. So we will be going back in again tonight. So lets see how this visit goes!
Staff is very friendly. Dr. Zaveri was great! She was very caring and understanding. She didn't rush me out the room like other doctors. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze. The receptionist Carla greeted me as soon as I walked in. She made me feel welcomed and has a great sense of humor. The doctors nurse was very welcoming and had a positive attitude. Yes I do recommend!
The facility was nice, but the billing was extremely predatory. I received bill for nearly $10,000 dollars for two failed ultrasounds and blood work I didn’t know I was getting or “needed”. The staff were nice, but the company needs a remedial course in ethics. The patient should always have informed consent every step of the way. Had I know I would rack up $10,000 of “services” I would have went somewhere else. Avoid this place.
My father was taken to this ER for an asthma attack and had to wait in the waiting room to get admitted for treatment. He was in terrible condition and close to passing out. The staff was rude and lazy. I work in the healthcare industry and understand how the ER works. This location definitely needs to improve their quality of work and service. I was very unsatisfied of how they treated my father.
