I would rate 5 stars for Adriana! She is the best ultrasound technician I've ever met and I really appreciated all her help. When Adriana performed ultrasound on me, she always let me know what she would do next in advance and checked with me if there was anything uncomfortable. Her skill is definitely awesome - there was nothing uncomfortable at all and we finished all the procedures smoothly. Adriana made me feel cared for during my visit - thank you so much Adriana for your professional and kind care!
Went there a few months back felt something snap in my throat lost my voice immediately went to this place, I have united healthcare insurance, it was late but was worried about my pain and voice, I payed my deductible, but several months later I get a call from collections for a physician fee, no email or other notification just straight to collection's, was not informed about this charge upfront, even after paying my deductible and my insurance paying their part. They didn’t do anything but take my vitals was told to suck on cough drops and felt around my throat, glad I got a second opinion from a real doctor at Numed paid cash there and they treated me for a few months but got me right. Expected more from memorial Herman looks like they’re just in the business of scamming the insurance companies and squeezing every cent they can from their patients, will be reporting to the BBB hope they can assist with resolving this issues, if not for the very least get them to look at their practices a bit more closely.
I always come here and bring my kids never had a problem the day I come for myself and I never get sick but I feel like crap with cracking noises in my chest body ache's,heavy head I can barely move Mr.Patel said I was fine to leave all he did was check my throat and here me breathe didn’t even bother to do a chest xray or flu,Covid, strep test nothing at all I was literally here for 30 min in and out they didn’t even check my weight I guess he didn’t feel like working even the nice reception was confused and thought I was going to the restroom I told him no they sending me home. Horrible experience I didn’t even receive discharge papers.
I went to this facility with abdominal pain. Within minutes I was in an examining room with the physician, Dr. Bauer. He asked many questions regarding my symptoms and background, and ordered some tests. He proposed a diagnosis which turned out to be the correct and simplest one, but given my history, suggested some more complete testing (scan). Following all the results, he took the time to clearly explain the results and the underlying cause of my problem, with suggestions on how to rectify. His staff, nurses and tech, were very professional and caring. The facility is brand new and absolutely first rate in all respects. Plenty of parking. CAVEAT: I subsequently received a bill for $900 from a physicians group. Fortunately, I was able to quickly resolve this problem, for some reason my insurance info did not get entered for the physicians group. But you may want to expressly confirm that your insurance covers all aspects of treatment you will receive. Mine does, and I will definitely use this facility for all my future emergency care needs short of major trauma.
This was my first time going into this facility. I’ve had horrible experiences at the medical center ers. I had a great experience here though! I was worried that I had pancreatitis again, I’ve had it in the past and the symptoms I was experiencing were very similar and lasted over a week. My nurse Larhonda was very accommodating and had a good sense of humor that really put me at ease. Dr. Tai took my concerns seriously, asked targeted questions and ordered appropriate scans and treatment for me. Thankfully it wasn’t pancreatitis. I was sent home with follow up recommendations for a GI specialist and prescriptions for medications to ease my symptoms. I felt heard, respected and cared for the entire time. Thank you so much!
The wait is crazy, someone's name gets called every hour. After hours of waiting I just chose to leave sick. Definitely don't recommend
The facility itself is good but avoid going at all cost unless it’s really life threatening or you will get a surprise bill from them and a SEPARATE bill from ER physician. I was billed for total of almost $9000 for few simple tests because I got scared by the urgent care that I need to go to the ER immediately.
I had a terrible experience at this place with my 3yo son, this morning. We arrived here after desperately leaving ER at Memorial Hermann City Mall, due to my son constantly vomiting and dehydrating since 3am. After a long wait at the ER, I decided to leave and let reception know I was withdrawing him to go somewhere else (never saw the doctor), so the reception guy said no problem and that he will let the nurses know. However, they did not took him out of their system, so when I ended up here at the Convenient Care, the receptionist was not able to put our information in the system due to their ER location unable to “release him”. I panicked as my son was getting weaker, due to dehydration, thirsty and vomiting the water immediately after drinking it. I started to cry and insisted she should to do something, since it should not be our problem/fault their system’s issues with starting the check-in process of a patient, while she was just repeating to me and even the security officer came to repeat it, as if I did not understand, that she called the ER location and they said “they will release his information when they can”, with an attitude that was like I was talking to a wall and they did not seem to care at all, she just kept repeating the same thing, that she couldn’t start putting him in their system as their other location has not released him and we had to wait with no estimate wait time. I left after waiting a while (almost an hour just to ckeck-in) and when I told her we were leaving, she told me that the system still doesn’t let her to checking us in as my son has not been “released” yet. The entire situation was like a closed game, a joke and a nightmare. I had to go to another urgent care, hoping I never have to encounter a Memorial Hermann hospital ever again. Their inefficiency and lack of empathy should be charged/reported as patient abuse or negligence.
Just tried to be seen for a sore throat, got registered , gave them my insurance, and then asked what the cost to be seen is. Was told I won't know until after I checked in. This is what's wrong with Healthcare in America. Treat first, bill later. Look at the other reviews. They up charge you like a hospital for urgent care capabilities. If it's something serious, they will just call an ambulance for you, and you get that bill too. I'm glad I'm a paramedic and know better than to let them empty my bank account for 2 min. Visit. Urgent care one street over is $50 co-pay. I walked out. Thanks for nothing but a scam.
This hospital is in violation of the No Surprises Act of the 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act by listing themselves as an Urgent Care facility within the insurance industry but then billing patients as an Emergency Center. I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission to investigate on behalf of myself and the rest of every other American consumer who was financially taken advantage of at this location. Hopefully some of use can be rightfully reimbursed. Be prepared to pay for an Emergency Room visit NOT an Urgent Care center. If I knew that I’d be billed for ER visit I would have went to the ER closest to my home instead of driving all the way out there. Earlier that day my Primary Care Physician suggested I go to an Urgent Care clinic for immediate treatment so I ended up going here after seeing it listed as an Urgent Care facility. After a failed IV attempt, The ER doctor at this location did nothing but refer me back to my regular Primary Care Physician. Then at the end I was handed a surprise ER bill. Waste of time and money
