They make a great Americano! The pastries are amazing. The building is really cool. Wide open space. You can watch the workers bake and prepare the bread etc. as well.
Great coffee shop with a cool coffee culture. Space is amazing, huge and beautiful. My Cappuccino was delicious. Almond Croissant was so good that the plate was clean when I got done.
I was visiting Kansas City these weekend and this was our afternoon coffee stop. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in, as it is an open space with three different floor. The coffee was very good, and they had a variety of different drinks and treats available. We were a little bummed that they were out of cinnamon rolls, but that just goes to show how high in demand they are! This is a must-visit place if you’re in the area.
VISITED Wednesday, July 3, 2024 O my, what a lovely coffee shop! I love how open and airy it was. Also, you can watch the employees make the desserts and patries not only to serve there but for other businesses (we saw some of their pastries at The Roasterie). What did we order from the large selection of pastries and small food menu: An Almond Croissant, the sunrise sandwich (forgot to take a pic) and a caramel coffee. Oh, so not disappointing. Sure, it’s a bit pricey but all was delicious. It’s 3 stories but my family and I enjoyed watching the employees put together the bakery item orders at the bar set up. They are like well oiled machines. Sure, the workers could be a bit friendly, but they were busy. I look forward to returning!
Very approachable coffee shop and bakery, with lots of inviting spaces to enjoy and a fun assortment of gift items (like tshirts) and great coffee. Had the freshesh donut I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot). Went out of our way to visit on a recommendation - totally worth the effort!
A beautiful coffee stop in downtown KC with pastries worth ordering and coffee that feels thoughtfully made. It’s a little pricier (California's price for sure), but the atmosphere and hospitality make it an easy.
First time today! We LOVED it. We took our order to go, but would love to come in and spend a little more time exploring! Matcha and hot Cinnamon coffee was delish. The regular croissant was so buttery and flaky, just like we like it! We’ll be back soon!

Loved this local coffee shop! Such a vibe! I'm from out of town and had some friends say this was the coffee shop to visit and it did not disappoint...actually it blew me away! The assortment of pastries, breads, bagels, food, and coffee was outstanding. I got the avocado toast and a seasonal latte. So good! They staff was professional and kind. The line was out to the door and honestly that just showed me that the locals LOVE this place. :) The atmosphere was also nice and refreshing; tons of natural light, with upstairs seating and the third floor outdoor rooftop terrace (so cool!)! I cannot wait to come back again!
Avid matcha lover here, impressed by the matcha latte (hot). Cold bakery, but I mixed almond croissant crumbles into matcha and it’s amazing. Bakery WIP downstairs which takes so much space and not much aesthetic, more room of all group sizes on 2nd floor and city view on 3rd roof top. ( even though not much to see?) 6-8 street parking and paid parking lot.
