Dr Vora found out through our message we had a difficult weekend with our son , Mindpath scheduled an appointment for Thursday, she reached out within the hour and made an appointment happen the same day. Some people still care.
Smooth transition to excellent psychiatrist that was easy to talk to and very helpful. My prescription was filled right after the appointment, which was so convenient. Highly recommend!
Dr. Lagoy is awesome. He listens carefully, doesn’t rush into meds, and is just a beautiful guy. Thanks for your help. Also, mindpath staff is extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. Best service I have ever received in 30 years as a patient.
Super super rude front desk lady, I asked to be removed from an appointment (which through out the call she had a horrible attitude and once I matched her energy she hated that) and out of pettiness she left it on and making me look like a no call no show and end up being charged a fee. Do better with who you hire as your employees and maybe teach them better customer service (if this company even values that) and whoever was working August 2 and answered my call at 11:02am I hope the worst happens to you and you end up getting fired in the future (-:
I had a great first experience overall. Customer service is friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for. For my session I chose Dr. Kaur and she is informative, knowledgeable and understanding. She made me feel comfortable and that helped me open up with issues I am dealing with. I highly recommend Mindpath and Dr Kaur as well.
They didn’t tell me they don’t support my insurance. I was referred by another doctor through my insurance company, and we already did some simple evaluations. She referred me to this place, and I thought it would be okay. I'm pretty sure I told the guy on the phone that I was coming to see if I have ADHD. The psychiatrist was 10 minutes late and didn't even apologize (this place sends me daily reminders to show up on time and made me link my credit card beforehand, but the doctor can't even be on time?). She then told me she had no idea why I was there. I had already filled out a questionnaire with tons of questions, but this $250 session was just her asking the same questions again. After answering everything, she told me I probably don’t have ADHD (the funniest part is she said being easily distracted by phones isn’t a symptom of ADHD; I looked it up later, and she was wrong. Is she even a real doctor?). She said she would still give me a more objective test, which is what I thought I was there for in the first place. She told me I have another session in a week. They said they would call if my insurance was supported, but there was no response and no reminder that they don’t accept my insurance. Avoid this place. I chose a female psychiatrist, hoping for more understanding and sympathy, but I guess I was dreaming. She was incredibly rude to me. I am here to seek help for my mental health issues, and she kept repeating, "I don’t think you have ADHD, but you need to do this and that before I can give you medication." I'm not here just for medication; I’m here to seek help and to know myself better. ps. we talk more about my period regulartion then other things. I see other people say, "You will be lied to and told that your card will only be used in case of a no show." 100% true. I have never experience things like this, mindpath tell me that they are waiting for my insurance response, well, guess what, I ask my insurance and they never received it. They later told me i need a referral which i have on file(it was mentioned by another stuff) but they claim that i dont have a referral so i probably wont get a refund .
Deceptive billing practices. They will attempt to charge your credit card before going through insurance. This is NOT disclosed during scheduling. You will be lied to and told that your card will only be used in case of a no show. I had a horrible appointment with a doctor that wanted to change my medication despite me finally finding something that helped with no negative side affects. When I explained this so her she was incredibly disrespectful and condescending. Both my primary care physician and my former psychiatrist (now out of network) think this is a great medication for me, so this doctor is out of line and in the minority. Who does that!? The worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m going to file an official complaint regarding the billing practices, and I hope others do as well.
great intake with dr Fayyaz! friendly, professional, personable, receptive, attentive and affirming. inaddition to the great intake, ive been with mindpath since before the change to mindpath. they have always consistent in assisting with anything i needed. per the communication options i chose, i have not had many hiccups even as they had system updates. it helps to know that they try to keep ahead with alternatives. thank you
I’ve used a provider at Mindpath Health since November 2023 and had a great experience. My provider is knowledgeable, understanding and responsive. It feels like a safe, validating place as an adult woman with ADHD. I am also on Medi-Cal (Anthem Blue Cross) and so far everything has been covered; I haven’t had to pay out-of-pocket.
The front desk staff could not be more unprofessional and difficult to deal with. Their booking skills and communication skills absolutely need coaching. Unfortunately—because they lack the professionalism and etiquette it can make a person want to move on to a new a doctor. Forfeiting care and great guidance from Dr.Kaur only because you often deal with the front desk and it has consistently been a negative experience with them. *Please coach your front desk they need it. They are the beginning and end to every appointment. Thank you.
