I had two consultation. So far, my experience has been great. I’m glad I found this clinic. They are in network with my insurance. Everything has been very pleasant. My doctor is very knowledgeable and was able to quickly confirm my condition. I also went to another one out of network but I did not like the experience.
My Doctor is excellent. He remembers details about me that are important, and he is very personable, I enjoy my short sessions with him. I do have one complaint. The office staff schedules appointments with you via email, but patients are not able to reply or connect with them via email. You have to call and reschedule your appointments. It would make scheduling appointments much more efficient.
I a New a patient at MindPath🙏 My first experience was with a very helpful and attentive receptionist named Ashby. He was kind, courteous and most importantly he listened to my needs and he helped me find a Psychiatrist that was a good fit for my issue. The first appointment went very well. I am excited to be working with Mind Path and to continue my journey of learning to love myself. I will leave more reviews after I have been here longer. The doctor i worked with insisted on the medication that i raised an issue with, the front desk and communication flow with doctor is slow and take long. They charge a heavy premium bill for a poor service. The only good point is their early appointments!
My therapist, whom I hold in high regard, is not a part of this review. This is a review of Mindpath the business entity My interactions with the Mindpath business office for both billing and scheduling has been less than stellar. They seem to have replaced the local office staff recently with with individuals who either have no concept of doctor/patient requirements in scheduling, or simply don't care. While scheduling is notoriously difficult, informing a patient that the doctor requested time is not available and looking for alternatives is the norm. However, placing a patient on a waiting list without even telling them you have done so and then dropping the entire scheduling request is the most highly unprofessional action I can recall, and typical of this Mindpath office. It took me calling them after nearly two weeks to find out what happened to the schedule that they told me nothing was available, nothing came though on the wait list, and oh now that they look at alternatives they could fit me in a month later (turning a doctor requested two week check-in to make sure a new medication was doing ok into a six week wait which is a bit precarious). I do not know if this is simple incompetence, if this is how Mindpath trains its office staff, or some other factor at play. It is a disservice to the patients and the therapists.
Finding a good therapist along with a competent and supportive staff is not easy. Set your mind at ease with Mindpath, smooth transition and great therapists.
Been with them for 2 years now. It's a great one stop shop for all you psychiatric needs. They are affordable and more than competent. I'm so glad I found them.
