Ocean Prime

Celebrated an early father's day here and we weren't disappointed. Overall, the food was good and presented well. The halibut was amazing as well as the truffle mac and cheese. The drinks weren't worth the price. The service was immaculate. We'd definitely return.

My husband and I have eaten at a lot of the steak and seafood places in the area and this was definitely one of the more enjoyable experiences. We went for a week late Valentine’s Day celebration before the Brett young concert, and were seated after only a minute or two wait when we got there. We were sitting in a small side room which we had all to ourselves for most of our dinner, which was nice, but our dinner was on the earlier side being before a concert. My husband ordered a crab cake to start and filet Oscar. I got the Wagyu filet with a side of Bearnaise sauce, and we ordered the creamed spinach a truffle Mac and cheese to share. The bread they brought out was really good, sourdough and pretzel rolls. I love sourdough and this one is excellent, my husband had the pretzel rolls and said they were really good. My husband loved his crab cake, he ate every bite. Both steaks were really good, although mine was better, and the bearnaise was definitely better than At Eddie V’s and Morton’s. I used to think the Mac and cheese at Eddie V’s was my favorite, but I think this one may have beaten it, it was so good. The one disappointment for me was the creamed spinach… I LOVE creamed spinach, but I did not like this creamed spinach because it didn’t taste like creamed spinach, it was so over powered by the bacon that was literally all you could taste. That being said, my husband said it was his favorite of the creamed spinach we’ve tried 😂 oh well. Despite taking tons of leftovers, we did decide to try the carrot cake for dessert and I’m glad we did because it’s so good, and we have plenty of that leftover too. The biggest negative for me overall was how cold the restaurant was, especially the bathroom… it was freezing! Get a space heater or something for the prices we just paid, come on. I won’t be back in the winter.

We just got back from our anniversary dinner there and absolutely loved it. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and such attentive staff. I will forever be thinking about the bacon creamed spinach! They made our little celebration out a memorable one, and we will definitely be back :)

Everything was absolutely outstanding. Bryce was our server and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I had the espresso martini and my boyfriend had the prime Manhattan and they were both delicious. The calamari and French onion soup were to die for, we kept talking about how amazing they were. The entrees were the icing on the cake, both the steak and lobster linguine melted in your mouth. To finish, the champagne and butter cake were exquisite. Overall, one of the best meals we have had.

Ocean prime did not disappoint!!!! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left , the service was amazing! I sat at the bar until my table was available. I was greeted by Brit. I ordered a lemon drop! 10/10. After having my drink, my table was ready. My server was Andre! Andre was absolutely amazing the entire night ! I started off with an espresso martini. 10/10 then I ordered oysters and the chilled crabmeat cocktail. It’s was so good and fresh! One of the best oysters I’ve ever tasted. Now onto the main course. I ordered a 16 oz ribeye! Hands down the best steak I’ve had thus far and I’m a steak gal for sure. I requested medium and it was perfect. It was top with Au poivre which is the best topping ever. My mouth is watering just thinking about it lol… I also added Oscar style on the side. That came with one of the best sauces I’ve tasted. I also ordered the blacken salmon with shrimp scampi . It was so good !!!!! I had the garlic mash potatoes and nothing disappointed me! Everything was absolutely scrumptious! Jim one of the managers checked on us and he was so nice. We talked for a little and he asked me , so what brings you in. I said “ I’m celebrating life” He was so sweet! He then offered dessert! I had the chocolate torte cake and a Taylor fladgate port. So delicious! The service and people at ocean prime are amazing! I’ll definitely will be back! Kudos to Brit, Andre and Jim! You guys made my experience phenomenal!

I wish I could give 10 STARS !! ⭐️ This was an amazing experience. Brice, our waiter was immaculate. He recommended my amazing drink as well as my birthday dessert cake. He went above and beyond to make my night special. He even asked if it was a special occasion and sprung in to action to make a great night, with ease. He had us laughing, and very informative when it comes to the menu. He was also training, and his trainee did a great job checking in and serving as well. Everyone worked as a team, other waiters would also refill our glasses, grab plates. Everyone worked as one a beautiful sight. Thanks so much for everything! We’ll be back!

This restaurant is stellar 👌 I can't say anything bad about my experience top noch. The food was hot and flavorful I loved 😍 my first experience. The waitress was attentive and explained all of the options impeccably. My Birthday was so very special because my visit here was perfect.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has stayed with me for years. Several years ago, I visited Ocean Prime on Valentine's Day and treated myself to dinner alone. During the evening, a friend had flowers and a balloon delivered to me, and I was enjoying what was supposed to be a special night for myself. Another couple noticed I was dining alone and sent a drink through the bartender before inviting me to join them. What initially seemed like a friendly gesture quickly became uncomfortable. I was asked questions about why I was there alone and how I could afford to dine at an upscale restaurant. As a young Black woman, the conversation left me feeling judged and scrutinized rather than welcomed. The final disappointment came when I discovered that the drink they had supposedly sent me was still charged to my bill after they left. When I raised the issue with staff and management, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I also submitted feedback afterward and was given an email address for follow-up, but never received a response. Whether intentional or not, the lack of acknowledgment left me feeling dismissed and reinforced the impression that my concerns were not important. I am writing this years later because the experience has stayed with me far longer than I expected. What should have been a positive evening celebrating myself became a memory associated with embarrassment, discomfort, and feeling unwelcome. To this day, seeing the restaurant's name reminds me less of the meal and more of how unsupported I felt when I tried to address what happened. I hope the guest experience and management response process have improved since then, but this remains one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had.

My inaugural dining experience at Ocean Prime was exceptional, and I am pleased to report that both the cuisine and the service were outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the Vero sparkling water, which complemented my appetizer, the Chilled Crab Meat Cocktail, and my entrée, the Chilean Sea Bass with a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts. While I regrettably did not have an opportunity to sample dessert, my overall experience warrants a five-star rating.

On 2/14/26 I dined at Ocean Prime and became very sick from the seafood pasta that was served to me. I left a review on open table 2/15/26 which is still in my records. I spent $283.34 including $48.00 tip. On 2/16/26 I spoke with manager Dymond Blackmon around 3:13pm which I have record of. Dymond reported to me that I would be issued a full refund around 2/20/26. I was initially afraid to give all of my card information over the phone as I have been a victim of fraud in the past, however I trusted and held ocean prime and Dymond to a higher standard. I gave Dymond my full card information. I checked my bank statement today and ocean prime again debited me $253.34 (not including the $48.00 tip) on 2/24/26. Ocean prime now owes me $518.68. Respectfully requesting this matter to be resolved or I will be escalating the matter to upper management and the better business bureau
