Ocean Prime

I had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime last night and was very pleased with the overall experience. I ordered the special halibut main course, which was expertly cooked flaky, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktail I chose was both well crafted and beautifully presented, a great complement prior the meal. A nice surprise was the bread served alongside the main course, which added a thoughtful touch. The ambiance of the restaurant was spot on elegant yet comfortable and the staff was attentive and professional throughout the evening. The dessert menu looked tempting, though I did feel the pricing was a bit on the high side. At $17, it seemed slightly steep, and something in the $12–15 range might have felt more appropriate. That said, the wine list was strong, with a solid selection to choose from, and I was able to find something that paired nicely with the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely return! On the side note, there is a lot of homeless on the streets i would recommend driving or walking as a group.

John was an astute gentleman. It was my Fiancée’s birthday and both of our first times. They even created a Happy Birthday Menu! All of the food was top notch and delicious. We will absolutely be back.

Took my best friend here for her birthday. She had an amazing time! I can’t remember the young man’s name at the valet but he was comical. Manny, at the door, was very polite. Our reservation wasn’t quite ready yet when we arrived so we sat at the bar to have drinks while we waited. Mel was such an amazing bartender we actually learned a great deal from her. The old fashioned that she made for me was excellent! Bob was very attentive. He saw we were having a slight issue with a spilled drink and came over immediately to rectify the situation. He was also super knowledgeable about drinks in general. Made a great recommendation for champagne. The food was good. I did wish the sea bass had a little more back end on the broccolini but the taste was still good. The lobster mac & cheese was wonderful. Absolute yes on the butter cake for dessert. All in all we had a great time.

I was brought here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago and was more than satisfied. It’s clean and beautiful. The menu has great selections and everything we had was delicious. Filet, garlic scampi shrimp, salmon, asparagus and roasted Brussels sprouts. No complaints at all everything was fresh and flavorful. Everyone from the host to the waitress to the food runner was friendly and had a smile on their face. The butter cake was to die for!!!

Employees were all exemplary! Everyone was polite and attentive. Didn't matter if they were your servers or not they truly cared. Cocktails were different and tasty. Food was delicious and well plated. Will definitely be returning for more of the atmosphere and food.

First of, Mrs. Leah Johnson was absolutely amazing! She made sure we were so well taken care of and was incredibly attentive throughout the entire experience. She made me feel like I was going to my auntie’s house for a meal it felt so homey, warm, and welcoming. On top of that, the food was a 10/10… chef’s kiss! I’m leaving with my belly full and my heart happy. Her kindness and hospitality truly stood out, and I will definitely come back just to see her again. I’m praying nothing but blessings on top of blessings over her life.

Fantastic anniversary dinner! Marcus was incredibly outgoing and generous with his time. The service was attentive, but not at all rushed. We loved our appetizers most - the Wagyu filet was tender but far too salty. I’d consider asking them to limit the salt and add more yourself if you need to.

Let me start this review with two words: LEAH JOHNSON!! She made our experience beyond amazing. Super attentive, genuinely kind, and just a beautiful soul—you rarely see this level of care in hospitality anymore. It wasn’t until I asked for her card that I realized she’s the General Manager, which makes it even more impressive. Absolute A+++. Thanks for running a top notch establishment. Now the food and overall service? Just as incredible. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and everything we tried was delicious. You have to try the tater tots, calamari, and even the salad—all outstanding. Worth every penny....and of course I will be back again!!!

My wife and I went to Ocean Prime for our anniversary. We set up reservations using Open Table. Although I had to make a few changes to the timing the restaurant was accommodating. The ambiance and atmosphere were amazing! The place was clean. The food was delicious! Everything we had we enjoyed it tremendously. The steak was cooked the way we wanted it too and at the end we were full from our meal, which means acceptable portion sizes. The staff there were very nice and polite. Our waiter was extremely friendly and professional. They did set our table up for our anniversary and they provided dessert for us on the house! Food items we had were: Speciality Sushi Roll, Shrimp Sauté, Lobster Bisque, NY Strip Steak, Lobster Tail, Side of Garlic Whipper Potatoes & Bacon Creamed Spinach. And to end off the night with some delicious Crème Brulée. The only con’s I had were that they have valet parking, which isn’t the bad thing but the sign showed $26 but the valet charged me $33 and didn’t explain himself but I also didn’t ask. Also, even though the staff and everyone was kind and polite, I felt that the service could’ve been slightly more faster, but it could’ve been a busy night so I didn’t think it was such a big deal. Regardless, of that I would HIGHLY recommend this place, all around everything went well!

The food is amazing. You’ve got to try the Prime Roll, it’s super flavorful and one of my favorites. The ribeye is cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor and the crab legs are fresh and so good. And honestly, the experience is even better if you get Marcus as your server he’s the best! Super friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Overall, great food, great service, and a really enjoyable time. Highly recommend!
