I ordered Lobster Bisque and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. The lobster chunks from the bisque were large and tender. Cooked to perfection. The crab cake was a nice thick size. It's definitely worth the price of $29. I do wish it was seasoned as well as the lobster bisque. I just added the crab cake to my soup, and it worked out great. I also had a fun festival cocktail for my birthday. I think it's called Berry Explostion. (See my video) And the vanilla cake with strawberry sauce was amazing. I had a great time and will come again. My waitress was attentive and extremely professional. Much appreciated!
March 21st I came to Ocean Prime after I got married an i just want too say how amazing it was from when I walked in all the compliments and readiness to serve us. I honestly was blown away out waitress was amazing kind, personable and served us with intention food was amazing alway to the end. Even the people around us that we didnt know came over an said kind words. This night will be a core memory an I wil definitely return. Thank you so much Ocean Prime and the special team you have should be paid a million times over ❤️
I've been here before and I rember the food being a little better and the atmosphere more quiet and romantic. Did was OK but not great, Lobster tails were good I guess but not great and my wife's steak ( i know steak from a seafood place) was a little overcooked but great flavor. No complaints about appetizers, delish.
Best. Steak. Ever. 5 stars across the board. This place is definitely on the upscale side, so be prepared to drop a bit of cash—but trust me, it is 1000% worth it for a special occasion. For two people, we spent around $150 total and got a 16oz ribeye, Cobb salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and two cocktails. The service? Phenomenal. Like, walked-us-to-our-table, napkin-in-your-lap, menu-read-to-you level of service. They went so above and beyond—it really made the night feel special. We also got free bread and pretzels to start, and they were SO warm, fresh, and delicious. Just the kind of thing that sets the tone for an amazing meal. It’s not a fast dining experience by any means—but it’s not supposed to be. This is the kind of place where you settle in, enjoy the ambiance, sip your cocktail, and savor every bite. Totally worth the time. And let me be clear: this is the kind of upscale spot where you actually get what you pay for. The food was incredible, the portions were generous, the ambiance was amazing, and the service was flawless. I’ve been to fancy restaurants where you pay $$$ for tiny portions and “ok” food—this is not that. We literally devoured everything on our plates in under 10 minutes. It was that good. I came here for my birthday, and they made it feel like a true celebration—custom menu, free dessert, the whole thing. I felt so special, and I already want to come back.
The experience wasn't what I expected. It was far more exhilarating. From front door greetings to the salutations on exit. The experience was first class all the way. I'll just get to it. I had the Calamaris, which portion seemed like a meal by itself The crab cake is perfectly made with precise succulent flavor and filling ( all crab). The buttrred scallops are out of this world, and (chefs special) halibut over rosoto was 5 stars by itself. The carrot cake is a must-have ( try) since trying to convey in writing its superb taste and quality is futile. I'll certainly be revisiting soon.
I would rate it higher than 5 if i could. The service and staff was phenomenal. They knew it was my wedding anniversary and they made it very special. Food was way better than I expected. I will definitely be going back soon
The food was ok not. The service was very attentive. It was spaced out and took a very long time to receive orders. There were a few groups in that night so that could have been the issue. Had a private room for guest to our company. It wouldn't be a place I would go to on my own. It was a nice treat to experience.
Had a fantastic meal, tuna was cooked perfectly, and the lobster linguine was awesome. The garlic shrimp appetizer was good, and the three pieces of cheesy bread to dip in the sauce for fantastic. For dessert the butter cake was unbelievable. Can't even explain how good the service was. Had people waiting on us hand and foot lol.
First: a big shoutout to Andre, our server, who went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary with Ocean Prime. Thank you, Andre. Don’t ever stop doing what you do, man. It’s working. Okay: This place is badass. Lights out. I love an upscale steak and seafood place and since we moved to the City of Brotherly Shove my wife and I have been looking for a Truluck’s Austin replacement and we found it. It’s got the ambiance, the setup, looks old school modern and it’s a real joint. We celebrated our twentieth year together with this warm and wonderful staff and they were kind enough to give us a big booth, put out a little sign, give my wife some champagne and comp us a wonderful crème brulee dessert. The experience would have been stellar without those thoughtful add-ons. The new menu is almost over the top; I only say that because looking at it hungry you want to try a little of everything but that’s just not possible. You’d pop. Your wallet, too. It’s not Cheesecake Factory pages, but it’s a lot and everything sounds delicious so choosing can be hard. The sushi is great. Spicy and tasty. The drinks are just exotic enough so you don’t feel like you’re having Joe’s margarita at the corner bar. The sides are plentiful and well thought out. The mains, we had wagyu filet and lobster, were delicious. 1200 degree sear on the steak and the lobster tail was a quarter pound. The service, again, was just fantastic. You’re gonna go out to a place like this and you know you’re gonna drop some cash. The right joint strikes the right tone between briskly taking care of business and being attentive and treating you like you’re someone special. Ocean Prime does not appear to take your business for granted, they want to earn it. Oh: and happy hour Sundays. New menu, the food is fantastic, Andre is a great server and whoever is running this place has their act together. Keep it up. Thank you!
Old school bank turn Restaurant. All around excellent. Great food. Great service. Great drinks, Great wine list. A little pricey but worth it. Must Try
