I recently left here and service was horrible. When I came to pick up my clothes I was selling, the previous lady before me was Caucasian in which they took about 5 items and gave her about $50. I was next. I had 13 items and they wanted to give me $29. Didn’t seem right. I had ask the lady that was helping me to help me understand why the previous lady got more than I did and she had less clothes. While I was trying to get an understanding, these two other girls who worked there (one had white/black hair and the other girl had blonde hair-never asked names) started to laugh when I was trying to get an understanding of things. I thought it was very rude and poor customer service to be laughing at a customer. Running in to a former employee, I’ve known this store to be a bit prejudice along with other resale shops BUT I tend to ignore the fact. I was quite embarrassed when the two employees were laughing at me. Might need to take notes from the Plato’s closet in Cedar Hill. They are ALOT more organized and take more decent clothing. I bring clothes into the Arlington location all the time due to it being close to home. Whenever I look through the racks I’ve seen stained shirts, raggedy clothing and shoes and seem to find it quite odd that this location never a takes too much of anything I bring which is definitely in style/season and very decent (with no stains). I try not to shop or sale clothes here but this is my last resort.

I went to sell and buy clothes after leaving Uptown Cheapskate. The store was very clean and organized, the ladies working were SO friendly and helpful, AND they offered me $26 for the same 3 pairs of boots that Uptown tried to offer me $6 for. I left Uptown feeling like I was getting ripped off and as it turns out, I was. So happy I went to PC. I ended up buying a ton of stuff for a good bargain with my trade. I'll never waste time at Uptown again! 🙂

This place is horrible. Do not go in right before 8pm. Because they want to get out of there, and will not buy anything. I had stuff with tags that was new. They did not buy any of it. 3 bins and they were done in 5 minutes. They didn't even fully go through what I had. The lady was mad because I came in at 7:57 and she didn't want to buy anymore. The lady in front of me didn't get anything bought either. I would not go to this store.

DONT NOT WAST YOUR TIME.. rude people.. not customer service friendly at all! I brought clothes that were brand new with tags on, i brought 200 dollars shoes in as well! The lady that looked through the things obviously don’t know fashion cause she grabbed a total of 4 items and tried to give me 20 dollars TO THE OWNER YOU NEED SOMEONE THATS WILLING TO PUT THEY BEST FOOT FORWARD TO BRING THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEM COINS IN CAUSE RIGHT NOW THATS NOT IT! I went straight to uptown cheapskate and they accepted all my thinks for almost 400 dollars

They took about 1 minute to "look through" my items, which were all still folded in my duffel bag after I picked up, just as they were before. Something tells me that they judged my buy based on my physical appearance, which is not surprising given the rather obvious lack of diversity in their employee team in a city with such a high percentage of highly melanated inhabitants. Skip this place altogether and go elsewhere.

I brought some clothes in at 11:00am one morning and they said my purchase would take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I left to the mall to do some shopping and I come back at 1:00 to ask if my stuff is almost ready. They said it was almost ready they just had to price my stuff so it would take about 15 more minutes. So I walk around the store for a while and wait to see if they call me and I could hear all three employees in the store giggling and talking so you would think they would get my stuff priced. I was one of the only customers in the store at the time too so I thought they’d at least finish it up quickly. Come 2:20 pm a whole 2 extra hours AFTER the time it should have been ready it’s finally done. All I can say is I’m never returning to this location. It took them 4 hours to complete a small bag of clothes. I’ve taken multiple bags to other locations and in 20 minutes it’s already ready.

Found everything I needed. The racks were really tight which could be considered a good thing but after the cashier rang me up and took my money, she got on her phone and was texting before she even gave my change or bagged my purchase. She did apologize and her name tag said she was a lead associate so I thought it may be work related. Still kinda rude. Other than that clean store and great selection

Dropped off 6 bags of clothes and I got a text back within an hour and a half saying that they were ready when I got there I was told that I wouldn't receive any compensation for my clothes because there were stains, the bags were never opened. I was originally told that there would be a 4 hour wait but they finished in less than 2 hours, also some of the clothes were brand new but they wouldn't know that because they didn't go through them. Bottom line is stay there and wait for them to finish because they will tell the customer anything.

The staff working there are little snobs , rude and unprofessional!!! , I took in two bags of trendy shoes , clothes and accessories that was not worn , new like and out of all that an hr later !!! was told they only wanted a pair of shoes and a couple purses ,was told by Brianna that my stuff I brought in was out of date and older than two yrs , i brought in the brands that they say on the website they LOVE and want to buy But nope they didn't want my clothes and gave me little to nothing for the small amount they did want , so that's ok I will keep my not trendy clothes and accessories !!! I am not upset about your store not buying my stuff I am upset about the little to no customer service given by your ignorant workers !! What needs to happen is that the store needs to pull out the trashy looking snobs that are working there and get some real people that know what's in style and know how to treat customers !! Just saying , for the first time coming into that store it was not a good first time experience and I won't be back and I won't suggest that store to anyone I know !!!

Gave them brand new clothes with the tag still on it and they said “we’re not accepting because of wear and tear”. Their attitudes and behavior was very rude and it was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. One of the workers asked for a yellow slip that I was never given and said “we did give you that slip and we’re going to need it.” 10/10 do not recommend going here.
