I’ve been going to Plato’s for a long time. I know there clearance structure. Once they switch to a percentage, they stick with that. I went in thinking the clearance was 70% off because they had posted an insta story saying it was the previous day. I bought a few items and once I got to the car, I realized she had done 50% off instead. I called them and they told me that it was for only yesterday that the clearance had went to 70% off and it was back up to 50% off today. That is very false advertisement and they should have put today only in the insta post. I never would have gone then. I asked for a refund and they said no because it’s clearance. I will never go back to this location again.

The selling was fine. The girls who were working today were super rude.. I came in & they told me it’d take an hour which is perfectly fine I stayed in store browsed and asked for a fitting room three times trying different things on.. the girl opening the fitting room seemed so bothered that she had to do her job. When I got the message my stuff was ready, I was being very indecisive about a pair of jeans.. and the jeans had a slit that wasn’t like part of the jeans so I asked if it was still full priced cause it had looked like someone tried on before me and might’ve ripped the jeans.. and the girls just laughed at me.. like if you can’t do customer service right why have that job.

daughter spent a good eel of time looking around the store and had asked the store if they would hold some items for her to come back for since we had to leave. The store manager assured her that she would hold them till closing time. We show up an hour before closing and the kids working behind the counter had already put everything back and the items were gone. Not to mention the staff here are very very rude.

i went in the other day and brought 3 bags worth of clothes, a lot of which were brand name clothes in perfect condition. not only did they take barely any of it, but the girls were not very nice and gave me dirty looks the whole time. they weren’t asking people if they needed help, and when i was waiting in line they all would side eye me, waiting for someone else to take me at the register, acting as if they don’t want to do their job. mind you, i have never seen these girls in my life, i wasn't wearing or doing anything weird. they’re rude and the clothes in the store were not cute, AND they are not size inclusive in the slightest.

Was told my stuff was too sophisticated for them. Meanwhile they were looking at mine stuff i looked around and 90% of what i had in the bag was in the store. Here is a pic of the too sophisticated stuff they never actually looked at.

I went just yesterday, and I gotta say it was amazing customer service! The girls were very sweet and also dealt with my huge pile clothes in a timely matter. The manager explicitly let me know they mainly take clothes within the last 12-18 months, so when I got a lot of clothes back she let me know where the nearest Goodwill was so I could donate! They were insanely helpful and nice, so I'll definitely stop by again.

I just love this place! They are really great about moving merchandise and sending you texts about sales. The store staff is really helpful and the store owner is super awesome! I had a minor issue with an item I purchased and she took care of it immediately. The prices you get for selling are very good as well. It's always really hard to find good quality teenage boys clothes, but this store always has a decent selection. I can always run in and find something for my son. They are always incredibly organized as well. By far my favorite second hand store in all of Denver.

Didn’t have that much stuff to sell so it didn’t take that long for them to look over my items. They took most of my items and I used it for in store credit. This is the biggest Plato’s closet I’ve been too, was very organized and clean. You definitely have to have time to browse through everything. Will be going back again! Thanks!

This location is purely made up of items for tweens - very early high schoolers. Brought tons of stuff that are very in style for college age people and were told it wasn't “current style”. Current style is apparently SHEIN items and anything size S and smaller. Genuinely should be marketed towards middle schoolers since that’s what the majority of their sizes are. Maybe hire ppl outside of one demographic so you have a more broad range of styles for the people shopping. Spent an hr there and barely found one item. Also- in the hour I was there I didn’t get a message that they had gone through my items. I kept refreshing and got nothing. Only knew because my boy friend saw my bin marked off to the side. Do better. Waste. Of. Time.
