Wasn't initially planning on going in, but very glad I did. Got the chicken club: texture was great, warm, good value. Would love to come back again.
Thought I'd give them a second try..ordered online and food was incorrect when delivered today. Ordered for pickup a couple weeks ago and they were out of the soup I already had paid for when I arrived to pick it up. Turns out they always have soup but just don't always have it ready or willing to make a new batch. I suggest only ordering in person to ensure availability and that food is correct.
This place is fantastic! I had the Cubano and my boyfriend had A wreck. The staff is extremely kind. I frequently come to Portland for events and will definitely keep this place in mind for future endeavors
This place has gone downhill fast or they just dont like no tip on the app. To pay over $10 for a "steakhouse" sandwich and get 2 sliced of meat I will never go back. I will go to Costco and get a prime brisket and make sandwiches all week for ten dollars. You should be able to get decent quality without having to tip....let's remember what tip stands for TO INSURE PROMPTNESS not getting food paid for!
Tried this new to us sandwich shop today. Was slightly bummed they were out of roast beef due to a warehouse shortage, but at least the sign stating so was prominently placed. So, instead of the Steakhouse Beef sandwich I wanted to try, I got a Smoked Ham and Swiss. The bread is good and the toasty magic brings the bread to life. Flavors of my sandwich were good. The line never really shortened, but as it was a nice mix of takeout and dine-in, we had no problem finding a place to sit. The Sandwich Makers were very nice while being very efficient in their duties to provide a meal to all consumers. Parking is super limited, so be prepared to walk if you need to park.
Food’s good but craaazy understaffed. Update: 2nd time I’ve had a delivery pickup for lunch rush here. Still just as understaffed. Takes like 20ish minutes minimum to get the order and I inevitably get a bad review. Corporate please get it together, this is not quality service, you need more people making food at rush
UPDATE: The reply here from Potbelly's bot is only for show. They never replied to my email either. (And yes I checked my junk folder) I cannot believe how poorly I was treated. These are the facts... I made two online orders on the same day (for different members of my family). The first order was completed 45 minutes late, while I stood there and watched them serve numerous walk-in customers. The second order was made entirely incorrectly. I complained to the manager and all they could do was offer me free chips. I tried to leave feedback on their website, but it errored out. I called their feedback phone number, and it said they would be calling me back. 24 hours later... no callback. Seems like they just don't care about taking my $57 and then providing me with this trash heap of a customer experience.
Sugar cookie was great
Very friendly staff! Very fast service! Everything I've ordered off the menu has been delicious. They have great shakes that come with a tiny shortbread cookie on the straw. I personally don't like the custom hot peppers that they are famous for, but my kids love them. I buy them jars of them for Christmas.
They are constantly running out of items. I've had to call several times to make sure the items I want to order online will be available. The manager being the only one able to give refunds is ridiculous. This has multiple times being told that only the manager can give refunds.
