Have never been to this sandwich shop before, so was surprised to see my “skinny” BLTA sandwich come with only bread and bacon. Will have to go back at some point to see if it’s the sandwich option I chose. Mac N Cheese is a microwaveable mess which left a lot to be desired (probably shouldn’t have expected much, but oh well). +1 star for the very pretty black girl making sandwiches
It was awful. The service terrible. The building was so smokey. The ladies working there did not acknowledge us, and we stood at the counter for five minutes with nobody coming up to us, so we walked to the check out and they told us they would start us at the counter, so we go back and it took another ten minutes. Waiting on the food and to be checked out took another maybe fifteen to twenty minutes. Ladies were not very friendly at all, and clearly did not want to be there. Terrible experience, and the food was half-par at best.
I placed an order for two sandwiches—one chicken and one Italian. I waited for 30 minutes, and when I arrived, I was told they were out of the chicken sandwich. They offered me a different one, but I didn’t want that substitute, and on top of that, they couldn’t even give me a refund. Why do you allow online ordering without being able to notify us in advance if ingredients are out of stock? I wait 30 minutes to come and hear that there is no chicken. And then when I ask to cancel the order, they simply tell me that they can’t do it and leave without offering anything. Terrible service.
Potbelly SS is always good and this one was no exception. Place was clean and staff very friendly. Steakhouse with aioli is my go to favorite and other is turkey with Swiss. Cookies are moist and delicious and they have a wide variety of chips. Good place to eat if downtown in Portland.
We had some time to kill before attending a concert. We were pretty happy with size and quality of sandwiches. Service was interesting (slowish-confused cashier) but everyone was super nice though. Would eat here again!
Oh… My… Goodness!!! 😃 I got to enjoy the Powerhouse Salad 🥗 and it was absolutely delicious!!! I really enjoyed the spicy 🌶️ hummus on it! It was sooo good! 🤩I want to make certain that I get this salad AT LEAST once a week. All of the ingredients are so fresh and the size of the salad is perfect! 👍🏾 Thank You Dear Potbelly! 😘😍❤️
I went here for lunch while in Portland Oregon for business. They were convenient and very reasonably priced. What put the icing on the cake was the sandwich itself. The read was soft and fresh. The chicken Cobb was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Even during the lunch rush. I will be back to get another sandwich to take with me on my flight home. If you are in the area I highly recommend them.
Wow! I regret not trying this place much sooner. So much more than just a sandwich shop. The sandwiches are great, but their salads and soups might be even better (the Chicken Pot Pie soup is killer!). Friendly service and a really nice interior. And they also have WiFi! This place is quickly becoming a go-to for me. Keep up the great work, Potbelly!
A subway-style sandwich shop, where you choose your bread type (simple or multigrain), size and toppings. The quality is better than subway though. Service is fast and staff are friendly. The only complain that I have is that they were out of avocados for my sandwich and they still charged me full price.
First time in. I came in around 10:30 am, place is very clean. The young woman who helped me was very pleasant and nice. Whom, I assumed to be the manager cashed me out and he was also very nice and helpful. The place was empty except for myself. It has great street view to people watch while you eat. I would come back. The sandwich was prepared fast and it was pretty tasty. Would recommend and will likely be going back. Pro-tip, if you join their reward program before you buy your first sandwich the app will give you another free one after your first purchase.
