Pretty good overall. Not super fancy. Not huge. Not crazy ingredients or weird combos. Just solid sandwiches.
There is something about potbelly workers being slow. Every single one I've been attended except the clay and 22nd are always so slow when they have 3 employees behind the bar!!! I asked for extra lettuce and got crumbs... This is a joke. They also forgot our soups and had to wait extra to get them. Very slow and just unpleasant. The management needs to do better.
I went into the Pot Belly the other day and I had ordered a big mama's meatball sub sandwich from them. The person who helped me out and made my sandwich for me was Brianna was very helpful in making my sandwich fresh and exactly the way I wanted it. I am a regular customer of this establishment, and she is always so kind and very helpful every time I order my food. She goes above and beyond when helping me out and making my sandwich, and providing substitutions when they are out of other items. She makes my hard-working, busy day feel so much easier and brings a smile to my face.
Not my first time here so I'll preface by saying that I've had better experiences here in the past. But tonight wasn't a great one. I arrived by 7:40pm and the restaurant was already shutting down for the night. The person who helped me with my order was polite but seemed very distracted between her phone and managing closing tasks. I tried to get a milkshake and was informed that the machine is shut down by 7pm. Then why offer the full menu on the app or in store, especially with milkshake promos, if they aren't available for an entire hour before closing? I ordered the veggie sandwich with no mushrooms because of a dietary restriction. Since I couldn't dine inside (literally all chairs had been flipped up), I took my food outside. When I opened it, I found the sandwich loaded with mushrooms. I had to throw it away and settle for a cup of water to drown my sorrow and hunger 😓 I've been to this location before and the staff is generally very friendly with a focus on good customer service. The person who helped me tonight was not bad at their job but a little distraction can result in a lot of disappointment. Potbelly... If you have certain foods available only until certain times, maybe inform your customers clearly. If I'd ordered through the app or a delivery service would I have known about this? And while you're updating your menu, can you please add at least one more vegetarian option? The V next to the Mediterranean sandwich is very misleading as it's not a vegetarian sandwich.
The person working 6/23 is super lazy. Ordered delivery and they just made a sandwich with meat and cheese, couldn’t cut the sandwich in half and literally forgot everything. They also obviously did this on purpose since the receipt listing the ingredients are literally in the picture. What a joke. Ps. To the person working tonight 6/23: just don’t work if you don’t want to, other people can replace you. You obviously are incompetent and lazy.
First off, got to just say I appreciated the review that mentioned, "security guard stationed so I feel safe inside." As an out of town peel, it made me curious and I'm so glad I did stop here for lunch! Was very busy during the lunch rush but I can see why. Food is delish!! 😁 Did the great pick a pair deal and the line went faster than expected. Would Def come again!
The first time I came to this place it was really good. The sandwich that I had was really good but this time I ordered a sandwich and just asked for a little bit of mayonnaise anyway my sandwich was awful. It fell cart completely because I guess too much mayonnaise on there, I don’t know what the heck happened. Then anyways I had tipped them 15% and when I paid for it, she just looked at me. Doesn’t even say thank you. I mean, whatever happened to being gracious when somebody gives you a tip.
Just completed a $90 dollar uber Eats order for my staff: 4 sandwiches and 3 soups. All sandwiches came dry with no vegetables or add ons. This is idiotic. No one sets the default preferences to dry sandwich with no veggies. This is an obvious ploy to save on costs, and instead you are creating pist off Customers. No one but small children order dry sandwiches with no vegetables. CHANGE THE DEFAULTS!!
The whole experience was agonizing. I ordered online and when I went to pick up, waited an additional 45 minutes. They are severely understaffed and there was zero communication with what was going on. There was a crowd of 15 people just standing around for online orders, while completed sandwiches were tossed onto a table and weren’t bagged for 10 or 15 minutes. When asked if my order was coming up soon, they said they had no idea about anything at all and every worker did their best to ignore customers. The place was filled with silent rage, and the line to pay or get out seemed endless, people inching towards the registers while internally screaming. I think this may be how prison feels. We were all prisoners for a sandwich today.. Help these workers out, guys! They need more people, and online orders need to be paused if they can’t keep up. Something is broken here.
Didn’t make my sandwich right at all missing all items, subway is better an doesn’t over charge you
