Love the new online app during the stormy months(great way to understand the impact of storms and restoration times). I saw a lot of negative outage comments. As a long time resident of the Puget Sound, the trees we love, are also the main reason we have outages. I've noticed over the past year (2015-2016), PSE's response is fast and the information they provide is delightfully helpful. I was hesitant on switching to automatic payments, but ever since I did, its been worry free. Also, if you haven't done it yet, take advantage of all the energy savings offers.

Worst people ever! We’re going in our 4th day of no power and we’re nearly freezing! These people take no accountability to the people they are servicing. They can take our money every month but they can’t come turn our power back on. I’ve had to spend so much time and money in long lines to be able to even eat because we can’t cook! In addition to having pets and an elder in the house who are also very prone to the cold. Disgusting and unprofessional behavior! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves!

Having lived in 5 different countries this is definitely the worst power company I have had the misfortune of being involved with. A power outage due to a failed transformer was made worse by the repair attempt (they managed to take out an adjacent neighbourhood). This outage occurred at 5am and is still unresolved at 6pm. I lived in Toronto during the polar vortex of 2014 where freezing rain took several trees down cutting power, yet Hydro One were able to restore power within a few hours. While speaking with the repair team in our neighbourhood they did not seem either, confident in their ability to fix it nor highly motivated to do so expeditiously. Easy to get away with subpar service delivery when you have a monopoly. A leadership change at PSE would be a step in the right direction.

Expensive power. And I moved from my apartment and they kept charging me for a couple months. Even when I sent my paperwork through email to prove my move out date, they sent a $500 power bill to collections. How does a power bill even get that high with no one even living there. Record everything folks. Protect yourself because they're after your money

My power went out 11/19/24. Original estimate suggested it would be back 11/23/24. We’re now at a 11/25/24 estimate with minimal word from PSE other than Tweets that do nothing but deflect any form of culpability. This indicates three things to me. First, the frankly alarming lack of long-term planning for emergency situations by PSE in a seismically active area; second, a massive lack of leadership at the Puget Sound’s local energy monopoly; and third, the only place these clowns pull estimates from is their rear end.

The wrbsite doesn't allow you too look up any information about anything without having an online account. Unfortunately i live in a Rv park so i don't have an individual account. My bill last month was $120. I live in a small travel trailer and the highest it's ever been is $70???? Something is wrong here.

PSE has the audacity to operate their building in a completely wasteful manner. The in-building gym is blasting heat at 72 degrees. I’ve complained before and was told they’re “working on it.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, this is a GYM. It doesn’t need to be HOT. Just adjust the thermostat! Irony is that PSE will pass these costs directly onto customers as “overhead.” Do better, PSE. You’re wasting your customers’ money because you’re too helpless to manage your own operations properly.

On my first bill, PSE charged me a non-prorated $11.52 service charge for ONE DAY of gas usage. Estimated I use 7.536 Therms for ONE DAY of usage. The best part? The day they charged me for was the day before my start date. When I called they said too bad because you're billing cycle was only one day that month and they "don't know how many gas appliances I have." Absurd. Edit: Nice canned response. This isn't about needing assistance. This is about a private monopoly systematically ripping individuals off for profit.

Worst utility company I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately my town is serviced by PSE, the power almost never went out until they took over and now it seems to be a weekly occurrence. Terrible company that takes 0 accountability for the customers they leave stranded on a weekly bases.

Awful power utility company. No accountability, urgency or competency in dealing with customer issues. Every 3-4 years when there is a wind or snow storm, the power goes out for days and PSE is unprepared to deal with the crisis. It is always huge number of customers impacted and no urgency in resolving them. They blame high voltage transmission lines but that makes no sense when a neighbor has power and you don’t. Likely have incompetent employees who are clueless to deal and respond to issues. Data they spit out for fixing issues is also useless. Timelines are just a joke that they don’t adhere to. App keeps crashing and the outage numbers are just BS. It is time to break up PSE into smaller chunks because they are failing their customers big time.
