My father owns a business out in Duvall and recently had a complication in the kitchen and had to buy a new grill and because of this had to close the business for a day which is hard on business owners in this area, people need to tip more. So we bought a new grill and cable, whole thing cost him thousands of dollars not only for the equipment but also the day of lost revenue. The show up early the next morning after we call and I met up with a friendly guy named John Thorson. He was busy fixing all the mistakes and ensuring that the kitchen would be safe and available for use to open the restaurant today! Being a veteran I had to ask him if this was simply a part of his job or if he was going above and beyond and he was too modest to answer but you could tell it was more than his job. His exceptional manner and professionalism should be absolutely noted amongst his peers and rewarded by his superiors.
They are overly expensive and the only option. Our power was shut off for a missed payment but we werent notified until it was too late. The customer rep confirmed they will try to call 1 time, no voicemail, and then they shut you off. What happened to leaving a notice on the door a day prior or leaving a message? The cusotmer service was very rude. I wish there were other options.
I loved Seattle City Light service and hated PSE from the moment I setup an account. Rude customer reps, high rates, security deposit to start the service (really?!), forget about backtracking payments to earlier day. But now I'm stuck with them because there are no alternatives.
Same issue as many others. Their system is designed to scam you legally. They intentionally bill you a few days before the end of the month, so if you're moving you either go several days without power or pay the full service fees for only a few days of usage. It's not illegal, but it's underhanded and dishonest.
The worst power company I’ve dealt with world wide. Over charge until they get fined for it. Really slack off on updating or repairing lines. I’ve had the same line break multiple times in my neighborhood and it always takes at least 24 hours to get “fixed”.
I never had a problem with PSE until I moved out of state. They were still charging me for an apartment I didn't live in for over 2 months. I paid the last bill and after it cleared the bank, they kept trying to take it out my account causing me to get 4 return check fees. That's $29 each!
Caleb in energy efficiency was super knowledgeable and helpful, as well were trying to get info about becoming a trade ally with pse. Caleb was very informative and professional.
The customer service is HORRIBLE. I called in a month earlier to start the service before moving in and I was told the services were started. However, today I found the gas is still disabled and they are not sure when they can come in for safety inspection before they can start the service. If they have to do a safety inspection to start gas, why didn't they inform me beforehand? Instead, they chose to let me find out right before moving in, and when they come, I have to wait for them all day in a freezing cold house without gas because it is impossible to schedule a fixed time. I will be moving in next week and I still don't know when I can start using the furnace or water heater again. I have never seen anyone so lack of efficiency and communication like them before.
Very Poor response time. I sent them multiple emails about a bill I received from a property I never ended up moving to. It took several months for them to answer even one of the emails and that is only after I paid for the electricity I did not use as they stuck it onto my current apartment’s bill. Not very helpful response either just told me I’m out of luck basically
Late last night a tree fell from our yard onto power lines, cutting power off for our road and blocking our driveway. Within an hour a Puget Sound Energy assessment crew arrived at the scene followed by trucks and more crews. They worked tirelessly through the night (I occasionally woke to the sound of chain saws and trucks backing up). By the time I woke up this morning everything was fixed and good as new. Thank you for your dedication to our safety and for making sure power was back up for everyone this morning.
