Security harasses you as soon as you walk in the store and eye balls you all through out your shopping experience like you walked into a prison?

In what head does it occur to them to have the alcohol area in the customer service part and more than 20 minutes for a person to come and see it because there is no one in that area. He clarified that this is 4 pm

I have been shopping at this QFC for over 15 years now one of their supervisors is a very racist angry individual I have seen him be rude and racist to the white employees and customers I was in on the 31st with a friend we had two separate orders he proceeded to dump the first order into the bottom of the rolling cart with no external bag when I said that I was going to put my stuff in that card as well he just put all of my things on top of the other order in the bag with no paper bag no separation of the orders so of course I'm upset because in 15 years of going to that store never once have they not bagged an order let alone combined two separate orders into one thing so of course I'm upset and I went to say something as soon as I said something and I even slightly upset voice he spun you can't talk to me like that you have to lower your voice I said I'm not yelling at you I'm upset I have reason to be upset you need to get out of here you're banned you're banned. And as we get to the door he leans over to me and says you should watch how you speak to people especially since you're white. Needless to say that was obnoxious but highly inappropriate for him to say to a customer and I had every reason in right to be upset. What makes me the angriest is that even if I had talked to his manager nothing would have happened nothing would have been done to reprimand him or try to bring him in line or correct an ugly behavior because that's Seattle folks racism is perfectly acceptable as long as the person doing it is of a race other than white. I am so disappointed in you Seattle

I haven't been to this location in a long time because it used to feel unsafe and dirty, but I begrudgingly went to get groceries today because of the convenience of the location and color me surprised! There's a noticeable increase in security which has made the store noticeably cleaner and safer. No weird muddy smudges in the aisles, not strange piss smell in random areas, and everything was neatly stocked and faced. I'm thrilled this can be my go-to neighborhood grocery store again!

PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE GREASE STANK. Good location, great selection, nice staff. I honestly dont care that it's run down but the one thing that bothers me so much is the strong odor of grease or rotisserie chicken or something of that sort. Specially strong towards the back on the left side after you enter. So over powering that I can't even think in peace, I'm usually in a hurry to grab what I remember and leave.

No restroom access, and the selection doesn't seem as fresh as other locations

Amazing place. Chills ran down my spine when I entered. No other QFC quite like it in the country.

A bit of a sketchy area, otherwise protected by security and a good place to shop for deals.

Overpriced items (pricier than the most items in the Wholefoods before it closed), never replenished the empty shelf on time, no bathroom for their paid customers.

I reviewed QFC 7 months ago and I gave them 1 star. I am back to edit the review because they finally fixed the elevator some time in Dec. So if you walk or park up above because you're handicapped you can now enter OFC again. ~~~~ I reviewed QFC Harvard Market about 6 months ago and I have to say it's gone steadily downhill. Here is my new review. * The parking charge is excessive if you shop over 30 min. If you walk it's difficult to get into the store. * Fried chicken is really bad now. They overcook it, they stop making it at 5 pm. They argue about giving you an all-dark chicken box. It tastes like old oil now and lastly, the pieces aren't always even whole pieces. The breast has been trimmed so they have a tenderloin and then they fry what's left and call it the breast. 2 pieces out of one. I've also had them do that to the thighs, as you can see in the pic below (lighter for size). We'll not be buying chicken again. You don't get what you think you are paying for. They charge you full Breast and Thigh price but you are only getting half of the Breast and half of the Thigh. Check it out next time you buy fried chicken; or better yet BEFORE you buy it. *Customer Service is almost non-existent. Especially in the Deli. The woman argued with me and said the piece wasn't cut in half. Even when I showed her the cut thigh bone. *The Homeless in front of the door aggressively ask for your money. If you have a travel basket they will grab it to stop you. It's like running a gauntlet to enter/exit the store. It is the only door into the store now as the elevators are shut down. I've had to ask Security to help me pass thru them. *The elevators have not worked in weeks now. A clerk told me that "corporate knows already" and that she had no other info. *The stairs down to the front door are very steep. They are not handicapped-friendly. The only ramp is from the garage. The entrance to the garage is down a hill and around the corner. Not handicapped-friendly to have to walk thru the parking garage to reach the ramp either. *NOT Handicapped friendly due to inability to enter the store without an elevator easily. Also, the security devices, stacks of crap by the doors, and no bathroom anymore all say NOT HANDICAPPED FRIENDLY. I'll give credit where it is due tho; the lady in the floral dept is fabulous. She'll go out of her way to help you choose a bouquet or help you make one up yourself. I hope she never leaves. I figure Kroger just wants out of this store so they are letting it go to hell in a handbasket and then will claim it was the area. They could have security keep the Homeless and addicts away from the store. They could fix the accessibility problem. They could clean the store. They could train their staff, starting with John (wow, so rude) in self-check. But they don't, so they just want out. LOL like a person who can't ask for a divorce, they act bad until the other person does it for them. In this case, they are setting the Harvard Market store up for closure due to loss of income by making it intolerable for people to shop there. They get a tax write-off if they are losing money.
