They've recently started checking receipts and increasing guards and it feels like a bunch of security theater. Never had any problems before and it just feels like they're more suspicious of their customers now - I do not feel safer. Guards have been friendly enough (though I am white) but I don't like it. Prices are kinda high too though that's to be expected with the location.
Been going here for 21 yrs and very friendly people and clean and well kept up...
They sell expired cakes
Be warned that even if you register your car at their kiosk for the free 30 minutes of parking while shopping, they'll still give you a $93 ticket for "no record of payment". There is no recourse either, just threats of sending you to collections and towing your car. If you're driving, you're better off going out of your way to literally any other grocery store in the city.
The friendly folks that keep a clean store here have always gone the extra mile to make sure i get what i came for. From looking in all the places a Dr pepper might be to having extra fresh wasabi for sale, the staff are very much there for you. Bonus points for sushi portions being worth the ten clams.
I visited the store today, as I usually do before work, to pick up some groceries. There was a bit of confusion at the cash register about pricing. I became grumpy about it, the manager was called and I received the proper price. I called the manager later to further complain about the confusion. I just want to say that this store has a great manager. I was really impressed with his professionalism, and how obviously he respects the employees he manages. Thank you Manny for such excellent customer service, for being so gracious and kind to a disgruntled customer. You have a great crew as well, by the way.
I spent $40 on groceries, got to listen to someone complain about not being respected because he wasn't referred to in the plural (them), but was told there were no bathrooms in the building.... I get not making them available to no paying persons, but not available for paying customers with receipt in hand?! Outrageous, unconscionable, and morally deficient, no matter what 'they' say
Good for a quick item or something to snack on. Security is a little excessive in my opinion with their semiautomatic pistols. Seen them pulling a George Floyd technique on a homeless man a few weeks back and continued for several minutes and the man screamed for help and no one did anything and there were 3 Security guards on him.
No parking, and the cart stops at the door + almost everything is locked up, you have to find someone to unlock it for you.
Mr Marlin at QFC and Starbucks gave me exponential service and brightened up my day with a delicious beverage and QFC I'll give him 10 Stars if I could
