Smokeball Legal Software

Smokeball has helped streamline a lot of processes for us, including filing which is a real plus. However, I do tend to find that there are issues with how it runs and ease of use. Generally they are small, like not being able to bookmark forms from the forms library. Others are bigger, like lack of integration with certain software, in particular Lacerte.

They promised integration of legal letters and after months and months of dealing with their training department they finally said their software was not able to do what we needed. Then they kept taking the monthly payments after saying they would refund my payments because the software was not able to do what we needed for the Firm.

We have used Smokeball for the past 5+ years at our law firm. The performance of the software is lights years better than any previous software we have used in the past. It is intuitive, integrated with Microsoft products and easy to use at all levels in our firm. Training provided is also quite excellent. Also, the customer service support is always friendly, prompt and easily accessible, on the off chance you need assistance on something or want to bounce ideas off of them. We simply would not be as efficient doing our jobs without it and we would strongly recommend the software and the company to all in this industry!

I worked at a firm that used another software program. Coming in to a new firm with Smokeball was super easy. The program in very intuitive, and the help sections are very useful and detailed. Probably the best part is the amazing access to training sessions, any time we feel like we need to learn more.

We have been using Smokeball for about 4 years now at our law firm and it's made all our lives much easier. It keeps everything organized and accessible. Everything is stored on Smokeball, so any contact information, emails, documents, appointments etc. we can pull up anywhere anytime because they have an app as well. Being able to move between Word, Outlook, Smokeball and interoffice correspondence is seamless. Plus, the support team is extremely knowledgeable and wonderful to work with - response time on issues is fantastic!! We've been using the system for only a couple of months and don't know how we functioned without it!

Like most AI tools out there at the moment, it is not perfect and has room for improvement. However the integration and ability to pull details from the matter within SB is awesome. I can get more done in less time!
