Smokeball has opened up a whole new world of organization, productivity and communication for our small firm. It's intuitive features and access to support make it a pleasure to work with. The Smokeball team is constantly innovating and takes your input to heart in developing its features and offerings.
I've used Smokeball since August, 2024, and now I can't imagine my practice of law without it. One tremendous feature is Smokeball's Archie AI, a "closed loop" AI tool. Archie can mimic any form I give it with information, documents, and emails saved in the file to give me a working draft of any motion or pleading in less than a minute. Then, even when I don't have a form, Archie provides all the essential elements of general pleading, motions or contracts through it's in-house learning while using my specific case information. Lastly, I'm never afraid to upload confidential client documents because Archie doesn't use my client's information to develop it's learning: what Archie learns with my firm, stays with my firm. I can't recommend this case management platform enough!
I highly recommend Smokeball as it is user-friendly for both the staff and our clients, while also being time-efficient. Smokeball helps manage incoming leads at the law firm where I work, and our entire team agrees on its accessibility. Additionally, it offers the ability to work from home, which is a total game changer.
I like using Smokeball a lot, especially its helpful AI tool called Archie. Archie makes it really easy to draft simple portions of documents (e.g., introductions & statements of fact, letters), and I can instruct it to cite page/paragraph numbers as well. Afterwards, all I need to do is evaluate the content and double check the citations. This leaves a lot more time for substantive legal research.
We have been using Smokeball for about 7 months now. The program is great and the Archie AI feature is really helpful. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the billing feature is a bit of a hassle for us as we are a personal injury firm.
