One person working and just smoking in the back with 10 cars waiting for an hour before leaving.
I must say I was hesitant to stop here based on recent reviews and the fact that Sonic’s service, in general, seems to be suffering right now. But on a Sunday afternoon, our visit went very smoothly. Ordered in the app to receive drink discount, just as we pulled into the stall. App was easy to navigate and prices were very reasonable with app discount and food special. Young man served us very quickly, order was accurate, and he remembered everything from napkins to flatware to mints! Food came out almost immediately, which was great, but nothing was very hot. Store was not busy at this time, so not sure what happened. Best part was very friendly young man who served us. Extremely pleasant with a smiling face! Glad I gave a good tip. He deserved it. Thank you!!
My medium size Blast only had Oreos on the top 1/5th.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this Sonic. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW. There was no effort whatsoever. They obviously didn’t care, and the person who brought us our food was wearing his shoes half on half off. It looked sloppy. I am honestly surprised this is still open. When I got here I questioned if it was even open. Will not be coming back.
Waited 45 minutes for our order at the drive through. Finally got the order but they were missing a bunch of items. We had to drive back and wait another 45 minutes for 2 BURGERS. Very bad service
So I attended this sonic location on 08/03/2025 at 4:22pm, as I was pulling up to order I waited for the women that was taking my order to speak. After 1-2 mins of silence she proceededs to say aggressive “how may I take your order” in my head I’m like “oh okay.. “ she then proceeds aggressively again saying “CAN YOU HEAR ME” I then proceed to say “YES I HEAR YOU” mind you, she was talking like it was a long line. It was my car & one other car behind me. 2 cars in total in line. But long store short, you guys employee that was on the headset today was very rude and I did not spend my money here at this location due to ms attitude!
At one point this Sonic was the worst, but then they changed management and it was a lot better for a while. Now it has back slid to its old ways of slow service. It could have been bad luck, where I may have been caught in line behind a big order, but overall I have noticed a consistent decline in speed. A lot of times the good makes up for it, but like all fast food, not always. It is always somewhat of a gamble.
Everything was bad. Burger had everything on it for my kid, instead of just ketchup as ordered on the app. I threw away my cherry limaide because it tasted sour and like the soda was watered down. Paid for extra cherry flavor, received less than usual. The cherry was soft and tasted sour. All around inedible.
This used to be a go to for my family and we will not be coming back to this location again. This is the 3rd time ive had missing items. Only recieved my entrees and did not recieve half of my sides. Our hot dog entrees were burnt and the burgers were crunchy. They would not answer the phone when called, was sent straight to dial tone. I did make sure to order through the app so everything was stated clearly and this was still the result. Disappointed in this location I would not recommend coming here but rather try the north kc location.
DO NOTTTTTTT order from this store. especially delivery through doordash. ordered two drinks and mozzarella sticks, our dasher drops off two shakes? okay doordash offers to reorder free of charge. second order gets here, we only got half the order. their store number doesn’t work to call in a complaint.
