Stephanie and her team were great, two clients of mine have purchased homes through Thrive, on time, great communication.
I left a decent negative review about their homes and one of their employees tried to make lies up and fabricate to get me fired from my current employer. Never again will I trust this homeowner again.
Fake listings populating on MLS all the time, impacting an already unstable market. They may build fine homes, I can’t speak to that, but their marketing practices are intentionally deceptive or very poorly executed.
Fantastic builder! Phenomenal product with a dedicated focus on indoor air quality and energy efficiency. Friendly and courteous staff from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home.
You guys are doing good things. Keep it up.
Had such a great experience buying this home! The sales, construction, and design studio team were really great and above-and-beyond helpful. I love my new house and would absolutely buy another Thrive home!
My wife and I just went under contract to buy a new, Thrive Vita Series home through Jessica Vandecrift and we're thrilled with the product and the service. As a real estate professional I can confidently state that Jessica has been excellent to work with and the whole Vita Series is awesome--I wish we could buy one of each of their plans!
We worked with an awesome staff member when we bought our house. She has since been fired. However, the sales person who was an absolute nightmare to work with is still there. Good indication of where this company is headed. Also, they actively delete negative comments from Facebook. We bought from this builder because we felt they had heart and conscience. Now we know they not only lack either of those, but lack all accountability as well.
When asking about the plot plan and landscaping plan for our lot, Thrive mentioned that we'd need to be extra careful with any backyard landscaping to ensure that the back patio didn't crack. We're familiar with the expansive soils in CO, understood this, and found it reasonable. The part that was new to us was that they then informed us that if the patio was to crack, it could crack the foundation and that this type of foundation damage is not covered under warranty. So we questioned their process for flatwork (patio) to foundation joints and were told that they do it differently and that the flatwork would be poured at the same time as the foundation, that the spreading of a crack from patio to foundation was a very real risk, and that we were asking questions on things that they should not have to answer. It's not unheard of for a driveway, sidewalk, front porch, or patio to crack (even with keeping plants 5 ft away) and thus, found it very concerning that a crack in the flatwork could cause the foundation to crack. So we stated that we must be mis-communicating and asked if there was someone else from Thrive that might be able to help explain it better. The answer was "Absolutely not. I am the representative for this transaction." We were also straight out told that there was a ton of interest on that lot and they would be happy to sell it to someone else for more money since prices have gone up in the 2 mths since placing a deposit on it. My husband just could not get over the foundation risk... so we walked away from our enormous deposit with a ton of sadness and heartache. Unless you want to lose a ton of money or end up with possible foundation problems (not covered by warranty), I would STEER CLEAR of this builder. There are plenty of other builders in the area that are wonderful to work with... why set yourself up to deal with their unprofessionalism. They claim to be local builders that care about the community but had no problem keeping (aka stealing) our deposit and didn't care at all to explain the foundation situation further.
I closed on my home in October of 2019. Within the first year we had numerous warranty issues that were not properly resolved. Now here in October of 2023 things are falling apart that simply shouldn’t. The most dangerous issue is the second floor balcony railing literally falling off the balcony, even though I perform proper maintenance and shovel snow off the balcony immediately. Shame on this builder for delivering such poor quality homes!
