Thrive Home Builders

We scouted the many builder choices in Stapleton for months. Thrive was the first builder we visited and they were our last. I admit, we even came close to putting down earnest money with another builder because we believed Thrive was out of our price range. However, we fell in love with one of their floor plans, plus the home is built zero energy ready. So we decided to come back and see what Thrive could do. It has been the best choice we've made so far! We sat down with Jessica and told her our wish list and our price range. She worked up an estimate of how much a home would cost and it came within our budget. We even got our gourmet kitchen and finished basement!!! That same night we decided to go forward with Thrive and we haven't regretted it since. I think this stems mostly from our interactions with Jessica. She's helped answer any and all questions that we've come up with and if she doesn't know the answer or isn't 100% sure, she'll find out promptly. We'll even get responses from her on her days off. We've built a new home before and we've never had such exceptional service! For example, we realized in our selection of upgrades that our kitchen backsplash was only going to be extended to the bottom of the cabinets instead of the bottom of the hood. We expressed our displeasure in this because the kitchen is #1 on our wish list. Jessica pushed this up to management and we are happy to write that we will be getting the backsplash extended to the bottom of the hood with no additional cost! She is our voice; she is our advocate. When reading the reviews on Thrive, I think those that wrote negative reviews may have had a better experience if they had Jessica. It's been a great experience so far! This will be an ongoing review as we are only near the pre-construction meeting so we'll keep you posted on our progress. If you have any doubts, you should be at ease if you have the pleasure of working with Jessica. She listens, talks straight, and delivers results!

Scott was super helpful, and Dustin and his team did such a wonderful job on our new home. We love everything about it, and the solar + sustainable build will continue to pay off for us in the future (energy bills are so low)! Our family now has our dream home in Hyland Village thanks to Thrive Homebuilders.

AS a Real Estate Appraiser for Thrive, my experience has shown that Thrive is one of the better homebuilders in the Denver Metro Area. Their construction is high quality and features on par with the better builders in the area. Thrive is the only builder that i have come across that has Solar packages as part of the base price. Also, the Donna, onsite sales, has been more than helpful. I also worked with Donna in purchasing a townhome for investment. She was wonderful to work with - always a smile and eager to help. Her professionalism made the process of purchasing a great experience. I would recommend Thrive and Donna to anyone wanting to purchase a quality home.

Thrive works hard to make sure its market priced homes are the priority. They choose materials that look good at first but do not last. In Denver, one must now elect a part of the land one plans to develop as "affordable housing" these are the homes Thrive neglects. People who buy these affordable homes are teachers, firefighters, retirees, etc. People who make a good living but can't compete with the Denver market. Since living here I have had to re-paint the entire interior, fix multiple parts of the carpet, reattach every hanging fixture the builders put in, reattach cabinet doors, and tighten others. I have been here almost 3 years and this was a "new build" They also have a model home set up behind our property and have put a giant porta potty in the ally. It makes the entire block look awful, it is in the way, and is unnecessary. Thrive uses cheap materials, and Stapleton has a terrible HOA. It's 200.00 per month. Going to two different companies for some unknown reason. The landscaping isn't kept up. My elderly neighbors are out their scooping the snow before anyone from the HOA comes out. My front door was broken by the mowers and HOA did nothing to help. They blamed it on the mowers and the mowers blamed the HOA. Their is of course a special door required. If the HOA requires all the door to look the same, they should definitely cover the damages for a replacement door. Especially when they hired the company that broke it in the first place. The cement stairs outside each of my neighbors property are chipping and thrive can out to look, their conclusion was to do a cheap fill in, rather than the replacement needed. DON'T Buy a home here. Buy a place that will age well and last your family a long time.
