We are first time home buyers and Jessica and her team from Thrive builders made the process so easy. As first time home buyers we naturally had a lot of questions which Jessica patiently answered. We have been kept updated about the home construction process from time to time. So far we have had a pre construction meeting with Joel and he was super helpful in explaining how the whole process works. We are really excited to move into our new energy efficient home. We will continue to update this review as we move along the home building process .
My husband and I are in the very early stages of building a new home with Thrive, but so far we have been nothing but happy with the service that we have received. We have been working with Jessica as our sales manager and she has been a joy to work with. She keeps us up to date with details and has been very patient with our obsessive emails :) Will continue to update this review as we progress through the process! Excited to see it come together!
I live in the Lyric community in Lone Tree and pay nearly $400 per month in HOA fees, yet basic community responsibilities are not being handled. Communication from the HOA has been extremely disappointing. When residents reach out with concerns, we receive little to no response. We’ve even been told issues were escalated to the CEO, but still nothing has been resolved or communicated back to residents. There is ongoing confusion about who is responsible for maintaining common areas, including mowing the grass, and the lack of accountability is frustrating. For the amount homeowners are paying, the level of service and communication should be much better.
I moved into my new home a couple of weeks ago and so far I am in love with it! The process was pretty painless and the people that I worked with were fantastic. There wasn't a single question that they didn't answer, which was a lot because this was my first time building. There were a couple of issues that came up right before closing like some cracks in the fence and minor things that needed to be revisited and Dustin and team were happy to address everything. I feel good in my new home and everything that I have experienced so far has been up to my high standards. I haven't been here for all that long yet but so far I am a very happy camper!
Rebecca Mortensen, Community Sales Consultant for Thrive Home Builders was a pleasure to work with. I have sold Richmond Homes, Infinity, DR Horton and Lennar homes in the past, and she ranks up on the top 3 of sales people that I have worked with. She gave us updated information regularly. We never needed to ask for information since she was great with providing that to us in a timely manner. Top notch person to work with, with a top notch builder. Thank you Rebecca, for a very pleasant experience. You are true Gem for your company and they are fortunate to have you in their team.
Quality of work is pretty good, but be sure to measure your car to make sure it will fit into the garage. They made the garage abnormally small by adding in stairs that take up a good amount of space, and my husband's car won't fit into the garage as a result. If you use their preferred lender, be sure to calculate the taxes yourself or contact the county about it because they do it incorrectly leaving you to get a much higher monthly loan payment. Our mortgage payment went up by $500 a month last year.
When I started looking for a home to purchase, I already knew it would be hard to find. My desire was for an energy efficient home that would keep my energy costs down as well as a modern style layout. Well, I got lucky! I found the Rows at Ridgegate in Lone Tree, CO. They had exactly what I wanted. I thought I knew what was important when it came to energy efficiency, but Thrive Home Builders went way beyond my expectations. One of the first things that stood out was the way they build the outer walls. They use a double outer wall design that leaves an air gap in the wall so that energy (sun beating on the side of the house) would not be able to transfer into the house. I couldn’t find even one other builder using this type of system. Thrive Home Builders go the extra, and you will not be disappointed! Next Solar panels and energy efficient windows added to the mix. Oh my, was I excited! I couldn’t believe my luck. As part of the building process, they perform what is called a HERS test, mine was 37. If you know anything about HERS ratings, this is LOW. Low means savings! Again, wow! The real test came when I moved in, got my utility bill and all I can say is wow! The solar panels produce more energy than I am using, three months in a row so far! All I can say is wow! If you are looking for an efficiently built home, there is no other place to look, you found it, so come and get one before they are all sold out. Check out my pictures I posted of my energy Sense monitor, and you will see why I keep saying Wow!
Buyer beware. I have had my Thrive home for 3 years and have had nothing but problems with it from day 1. I dont know if you can find a company that uses cheaper products and cheaper and terrible installation and repair men. The house has never been satisfactory to us from the walkthrough to today. It was a terrible and cheaply built home and anyone they sent to fix things did absolutely horrible repair work and/or tried to say they couldnt fix anything that was installed horrible in the first place. Our current/running problem and home repair list is longer than I care to share and the amount of money and time I have dedicated to fixing things is ridiculous. To add, every one of my neighbors on my entire block is having the same experience. We will all have to spend an insane amount of money to fully fix our houses up in order to sell them. Do yourself a favor and run from this company.
I purchased my home through Newtown Home Builders in September of 2016. We were moving in July of 2019 and an inspection came back that the deck off of our back patio was coming apart. There were nails and screws coming out and the wood was warping very badly. Newtown is no longer in business and was taken over by Thrive Home Builders. I called Thrive and they connected me with the superintendant in my area. He came over and inspected my deck and informed me some of the problems were do to age and were not under warranty. He then said he would send someone out to take a look and let me know. I told him we were scheduled to be moved in about a week and I didn't want this to hold us up. He sent a crew out, repaired the entire deck and didn't charge me anything. I called to thank him and he felt considering we were in the middle of a move he was willing to help us out. Wow, I didn't think this happened any more. I would recommend Thrive to anyone that is looking for a home and wants to work with a very reputable builder.
My husband and I purchased a Vita series home from Jessica Vandergrift at Thrive Home Builders and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. We really felt like we had a partner in our home buying process. If we ran into a hiccup Thrive would always make the situation right. Jessica in particular is great to work with. She is very responsive and keeps you updated throughout the entire process, which can be long and frustrating at times. On top of Thrive's amazing health and environmental benefits, their customer service is top notch. If you're in the market for building a house I wholeheartedly recommend Thrive (and if you're considering Stapleton I highly recommend Jessica Vandergrift for the Vita series in Beeler Partk)!
