Unsafe driver I was about the middle of the trailer when he just came over. Which was on the I-10 where trucks are not allowed in the left lane anyway. After about 5 miles of 68mph in a 75mph zone he finally gets bakin the right lane and poses for a picture. I will reach out to my brokers to make sure my freight is not shipped with Updyke

This company has had my couch in their possession for days now. I had a delivery scheduled and they called and rescheduled for the following day. The day before they now have rescheduled for four days later. Horrible customer service and will not work with me to fix the problem. They will have had my furniture in their possession for over a week.

After promising delivery before Christmas, and three cancelations, I received my Paykel refrigerator last night AT 9:00 PM!!! There was one single delivery person. He had absolutely no idea how to deal with the water filter, how to turn on the refrigerator (I tried scanning the code and downloading an app but had no luck), and he didn't bother to take the plastic off. I spent $400 to Parker and Sons plumbers when the refrigerator was supposed to be delivered two weeks earlier to install a recess box so I could push the refrigerator all the way back. The delivery person could not understand this. In addition, he was absolutely clueless about what the different colored tubes were for. And of course, he tried the "we don't install water lines" routine but it was already installed not to mention that this is a simple process. He insisted a plumber needed to do it. Pretty shocked that he knew absolutely nothing about this machine, I had a Parker and Sons plumber come today. He firmly told me this was not a plumbing issue rather an installation problem. He said the delivery person absolutely should have connected the tubes he brought since the plumbers had already done their part. So here I am with a $3600+ refrigerator that doesn't work! Parker and Sons will see if their department that deals with RO can handle it. Obviously this will cost even more. For the record, there is no way I'm paying the delivery fee or any other fee not associated with the actual price of the refrigerator. I bought this from US Appliance because it showed it would come sooner than the big box stores and paid the fee to bring the old one out and the new one in and have a no hassle set up. Yet all Updike delivery did was drag the new one out of the truck and put it in the kitchen and drag the old one out. When I asked the delivery person how it worked, he was clueless. The included directions that he was reading, did not make sense. As I said, I chose US Appliance because of the early deliver, on the contrary, delivery took about 6 weeks, plus multiple rescheduling, and it still doesn't work. I expect someone to come out and fix this immediately or reimburse me for the charges to Parker and Sons if they are able to get the filter and ice and wifi and show me how to work it. Updike Distribution is the single worst delivery company I’ve ever worked with. If I could leave zero stars I would. Of 5 individual deliveries they were tasked with making, every single one was damaged. In particular, a dresser was delivered to me after they had driven a forklift through it on the dock. On another occasion, a sofa was delivered with the external packaging removed and the slipcover destroyed. On yet another occasion, I was contacted the morning of a delivery to be notified that a table, which they had insisted sit on their dock needlessly for an extra 5 days until it fit in their schedule to deliver it, was damaged on their dock. The other two deliveries were made and the damage was moderate. Each time, I had to wait twice the anticipated wait time because new items had to be made to order and shipped again. The customer service representatives are incompetent and incapable of doing anything other than looking up your order. If any other information is needed or there are delivery issues, they are completely incapable of assisting. Absolutely abysmal work and service. The only redeeming quality of this company is that the overworked drivers and very nice.

We had the pleasure of having this company drop of our tables for our restaurant. They were kind and professional when approached. They were gentle with the delivery and handled it with care. We appreciate their hard work. Thank you for taking care of our freight and delivering it with professionalism.

This company delivered my Costco furniture order and did a fabulous job. Seems like only negative people give reviews on their delivery service, so I wanted to give a positive one because I had a great experience. My delivery was done by Josh and Alex, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my new furniture was delivered in a professional and courteous way. Customer service was excellent and scheduling my delivery was a very easy process. I've dealt with lots of delivery companies here in Southern California, and this was one of the best.

I want to thank the team that delivered a dresser to my home for my son. My son was out at the time of the delivery and being the only one home when they arrived they were super polite and extremely helpful in assisting me getting the dresser in the garage and getting it in a spot that would allow me to move around it. I wasn't sure what I was going to do about getting the dresser in the garage without help. I only had to ask and they were both so helpful in assisting me. I can't thank that delivery team enough. I wish I would have gotten their names so I could put them here. Please forward this to the delivery team supervisor. I want them to know they have a couple of really great employees.

Beautiful job! The guys were patient and helpful and nice! I appreciated the early delivery even though I wasn’t expecting it so timely! TY GUYS!
