Only asked for a receipt for a pair of jordans. This is the second time bringing this pair of Jordans back to the store because our shoelaces were dirty so we went ahead and changed the laces. now they don't want to take them, requesting we provide proof of purchase. I've worked with them for years and brought plenty of designer/name brand goods and they never questioned it. Very odd. Highly don't recommend.
Gave them a 400 dollar jacket and only received 17$ but i seen others walking out with over 100 dollars also gave them 10 pairs of clothing worth more then 1000$ and only received 74$
Save your gas money and your time by not coming to this place. Worst experience I’ve had here. I came with a bag full of clothes from Pretty Little Thing, Fashion Nova, bags and accessories. About 80% of my items still had the original tags and you can still find them online. They told me I would have about an hour wait and could not leave the store. They only had three seats available for people to sit and wait. I noticed that they called two people that were behind me in line. So they made me wait longer. They quickly went through my bag. I was shocked that they only wanted 6 items out of 30. Wanting 26 dollars for the six items. One of those items was a bag and the tag was still on and it said $24.99. Brand new bag. The evaluation process made no sense at all. Especially how they rushed through my bag. I attached two photos of 2 sets that I brought in from Pretty Little Thing that had tags on. They took the green set (basically offered nothing for it) and did not take the cream set. Which is completely new and exactly like the green! Also, they are setting up for Valentine’s Day. It made more sense to take the cream set than the green! I had enough time to walk through the store to see items and prices. Wow. A lot of the clothing is really worn down! They take worn down clothing and price it double to triple the amount someone is asking for. But when someone comes in with fresh, unused clothes that are in season, and still have tags on! They won’t take it.
Great products gently used high fashion and greater style that typical thrift styles. And the staff were genuinely helpful and nice 5 stars and my thumbs 👍.

Rude, snobby, and judgmental. I took my shoes in for appraisal. I waited over 45 minutes for her to just come back and try and tell me she wouldnt take a pair of Dior tennis shoes, so then I just asked about my Nike Supremes I had on, she asked if I had the box and receipt? I do and she said I could “come back tomorrow or something” it’s a 2nd hand store. People bring their clothes in garbage bags for consignment. The highest end designer they even had was Coach and dusty air forces
The girl was salty she had to ring me up instead of the male customer. Even rolled her eyes at me lol girlll don’t nobody like a girl with a stank attitude. The workers need to learn manners

I’m more rating towards the customer service this store gives. I went in earlier today and the girl receiving my clothes was super nice but did get slammed with people walking in and dropping off clothes. My wait went from 25 minutes which she told me to an hour. She handled the rush well with good attitude but I was not pleased with the wait. The girl who helped her out and took the job at the computer giving me my offer was disrespectful, rude and talked very very fast giving off negative energy.
want more money for your items ? This place is absolutely a joke. They try to steal your belongings by offering you nothing. The people in it are not very friendly running it. I would go to Plato‘s closet before it ever came back. Here they gave more money for items than this place ever dreamed of doing, sellers don’t give stuff away. Go to Plato‘s Closet right down the street for top dollar for your items! Just drive down the road take your chances. You’ll save money shopping at Plato‘s closet and selling your earn more. Trust me. I’m a customer of Plato‘s closet now forever cheapskates uptown is not the place to sell your belongings or even shop for goods. Good luck, ladies.
