I went to go try something on the dressing room when I saw something on a mannequin that looked cute. I asked the staff member if I could try it on to which she looks me up and down and says “ That’s an extra small” . Incredibly rude. I left and won’t be back
This place has great stuff always good deals Then on the weekends they have a Sale.I’m a super huge big fan Im loving it!!!!!! I took my son in there because I wanted to show him what a great place to shop. He loves it as well!
The employees are unwelcoming and have unfriendly customer service skills. I walked in to sell my clothes at the counter. The two employees were having a convo and it was like I interrupted them by saying “hello”. The girl checking me out with the clothes they wanted from my bag was unpleasant and gave a stank face. A change in customer service would do this business better!
Went into the store to sell some of my old belongings. As I was dropping them off, the employee asked if I wanted to stay in store or leave store, I asked if there was a time difference she said yes people who wait in store have priority, so I asked what would the timeframe be if I left and was told she has absolutely no estimated time, It could be end of business day it could be tomorrow, etc. With that logic, that means I could drop my stuff off, and not get it back until a week later because there’s absolutely no estimated time and walks ins have priority. Food for thought when attempting to sell.
I got up this morning and I decided because it's my birthday this month I was going to treat myself to her so I this was the store I thought about. To that really tall lady long Blond hair, young white lady when I asked to see the purse you sitting up and whispering to the lady I come to the store shopping I've never given you problems I'm not a person that steals in fact and one of my jobs I found money in the car and I turned it in a large sum of money so you should never categorize anybody I'm really offended I shop there all the time. I was there today about 10:00 am. You should never judge categorize anybody. People like you that judge and categorize people will be the main people that go in the store stealing. I was really offended when you was talking to that lady before she handed me that bag and y'all was whispering yeah but I purchased the bag you see I purchased the bag I have money in my account because I save it. I spent more than I normally do but I bought all three items you see. I didn't steal it at all never would do that cuz I would have karma and God will judge me for that you are so rude for judging people I don't know who your parents are but you are stuck. Never judge what you don't know about people. The very people like you in stores to be judging people the very people that steal.
Every time I’ve come in to sell, the employees are gathered at the front of the store socializing and don’t appear organized or confident in the buying process. The buying decisions also feel wildly inconsistent. On this visit, I brought in two bags of items that were brands you actively advertise on your storefront and that were only a couple of months old. I was told they were passed on due to “style,” which is difficult to understand given how current they were. Consistency and professionalism matter to me, and based on my repeated experiences, I will not be returning.
I love this spot. Yuppyfied!! All the college girls, most with daddies money or athletic programs at SMU area which is where the store is. You've got adequate parking but low crime area. It's a snazzy area so the police presence are so quiet, low key yet strong. It's a beautiful area to live in. Since ig the local women , young ladies I mentioned before, plus I'm sure pallet buys donations, and other bulk deals. This store is sweet every time I go! I got some Levi's,sweatshirt,, a blouse for my friend Taylor. and two pairs of shoes for $72.Jeans 15.99 ,Sweatshirt Champion $13.99, Knit shoes $13.99& last puma shoes ( very well could be indoor cleats with no spikes) so comfy. $21.99;were the addidas Great buy and I don't care what kind of clothes you buy. They are going to be new , mwot and gently worn. I bet I'd be so insulted if I sold here They would really surprise me if they gave enough to sellers to giving customers who sell them their uses clothes ca fair deal. Their prices are more than the average thrift store but .... I'll always find something nice in clean wearable condition for immediate use. It's a good deal, not a great deal. I went before and I earned really good I think 10 off $25 coupons for future. Like kohls cash. Where did that go!!
The staff was nice. They were all very sweet and doing their best to keep up with the job. Nothing I am about to say has anything to do with them. But this store one of the most homogenous thrift stores I've ever been in, and that is not a compliment. If the stuff you're selling to them doesn't look like it came from an Old Navy or Hollister they aren't even going to take it. Even if it's worth hundreds or way higher quality than anything they have on the floor. It must be their special brands for the target audience. That's their right, of course, but I realized later why it bothered me. There's big aspect of thrifting itself that they've destroyed by doing it that way. .. The surprises? The hunt. The randomness. You'll never find yourself wandering by this place on a random Tuesday night to kill some time, only to accidentally stumble over the most beautiful unique piece that is just a treasure buried in the rack. You know, that find that you talk about for a week, that had no business being there for you to find it? Just used Abercrombie and Fitch discounted by $20 with a stain on it. No cool. No funky. No vintage. No discovering something that gives you a 'look' that you didn't know you loved until you saw it. Just... status quo. Oh, and ratty odd tube tops that no human woman would ever want to wear. LOTS of those. I won't get into them wasting my time or lowballing me well beneath 20% on the few terribly dull things they did buy off of me while passing over some amazing pieces that I made SURE were in line with what they wanted on their website. I don't need to push it, as I just won't come back, but the bigger offense is absolute just how booooooooooooooooring this place's both current and desired inventory is. I found ONE thing I liked during the 45 minutes I wasn't allowed to leave the store and it had a hole in it..??? What're we even doing here??? lol. And yes, their clothing is wildly overpriced. I think people buy from here because it FEELS like you're getting a deal, but as someone else said, this is USED clothing. You could absolutely get a better deal online for buying, and if you're selling and really need the money, find a different alternative. This place isn't going to help you. EDIT: Oh my god, these reviews. This place is toxic. Lol. Wild work to force customers to not leave the store for up to 2 hours at a time but also not allow them to use the bathroom. I'm now not long not returning, but will be sure to tell everyone who asks just how terrible they are.
I decided to sell my clothes that I no longer liked and wasn’t going to wear. I was hesitant at first because of the horrible experience I had at the Uptown Cheapskate in Allen, TX but this location made it a great, quick and easy experience provided by the dedicated and hardworking associates, even when I called beforehand to confirm they’d still be taking items. They took 10 of my items and I made $28 which was more than I anticipated but that money helped greatly. I was able to use that money to buy essential products to get by until payday. Thank you!! ☺️🫶🏻 I will totally be coming back to sell more and buy things too because there was a lot of cute items but I didn’t have the means to buy them at the time and needed to prioritize what was needed most with the money I had made.
I had such a terrible experience after my purchase from this location. I purchased a pair of shoes last Tuesday morning. I then wore those same shoes to a concert Tuesday evening. However, before the concert could even start, not one but both of the shoes broke on me. I had to ask a staff member for tape in order to tape them so I could proceed with my night even though I was extremely upset. I contacted the store the very next day via a phone call and email letting them know my experience. I will say the associate was very nice when I called and said a manager would either respond directly to my email or have someone give me a call. I did not receive a response until I emailed them a second time. Only for them to basically say oh well the shoes are final sale. I understood that. However, giving I hadn’t even had the shoes 24 hours before they broke, I’m sure the manager could have made in exception. Don’t purchase anything from this store. They don’t do enough quality assurance before selling you something nor do they care if it malfunctions or breaks after the sale is made.
