My experience with them was very bad and very unreliable. They have a number of shippers that will respond with quotes and Uship takes a large percentage of the fee. What is so bad about Uship is they do nothing as far as oversight. Our golf cart was delivered AFTER the event and the shippers were rude to the point of nasty. They sent ongoing rants via email, text AND phone making excuses for not delivering on time so I sent these to Uship and they did nothing. I had to dispute the entire service with my CC company. The shippers that respond are hit or miss. There is no way this is a five star shipping service they aren’t even close.
We wanted to ship our golf cart down to Florida with a few other items so someone told us about Uship. It’s a great recommendation! Pricing is comparable and insurance provided if you need it. We posted our information and received a response immediately. Our golf cart was picked up within three days and delivered with care. Great experience shipper nvrenuf was on time and communication was excellent! We were able to add a few extra items without any problem. Would highly recommend if you are looking to ship.
The site is reasonably easy to use, but it could be more informative. EX. When you have selected a shipper, you should be able to communicate from the site, and the shipping company should be able to schedule the delivery through the site. All this occurred outside of the Uship site, making it tough to keep track of the shipment. The bids are easy to work with, and an ample number of bids came through.
My first time using uShip. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My delivery guy was excellent and kept me posted from pickup until a few minutes out from my location. Not that I buy things that need delivered by I saved Mike's contact info in the event I need him again. Thank you!!
This was my first time using uShip. The platform was very easy to use. I was shipping personal items that included things I was keeping from liquidating my parents home from Kansas to Arizona. I was concerned that precious family photos and items would be damaged or lost. The shipper I selected (Tristan with Luxury Shippers) was awesome. He took great care in handling my things. Since I live at the destination, he coordinated pickup with the person who bought my parents home. He was delayed one day in the delivery, because he had an opportunity to pick up another load on the way that would be delivered in AZ. I didn't have a problem with that. His bid was mid-range in all the bids I received. I really liked that the payment was processed through uShip via a secure system. There also was no surprise processing fee when I accepted the bid so I paid what I was quoted.
If I could give UShip zero stars I would. The worst experience ever. I used them to ship a Tesla hood to Texas from Wisconsin. They suggested TForce as the transit company. I boxed the hood up with extra care and protection and it was more than secure. I took out an extra $1000 insurance to cover the cost of the hood, which was purchased on eBay from a garage in the Dallas area. Everything started smoothly until TForce attempted to deliver the hood on the intended day, but the driver brought the wrong truck without a lift gate. The next day, the same thing happened because the driver from the previous day didn’t enter notes. On the third day the hood was completely lost by TForce and they didn’t know where it was and said it could be either on a dock or in a trailer. The fourth day the driver said no one was at the business to deliver, but the dock doors were completely open. I asked why the driver didn’t call the business and TForce rep said they don’t have company issued phones and it’s up to them if they want to use their personal ones. I guess he didn’t, so he left. The fifth day after I called and complained, it was finally delivered, but had a huge hole in the side of the box with a huge dent in the hood, like a fork from a forklift speared it. I filed a insurance claim with USHip and was denied and the letter said it was my fault. I appealed the denial and sent in all the photos I took of my packaging prior to shipping it out and the damage after, along with a visor of it before and how well it was packaged. UShip sat on this appeal for weeks and sent me an email which said it was denied, please see the original letter. No explanation or anything. What a Fraud. This is the worst company and would recommend no one used them. They are unprofessional and scam you out of extra money for insurance with no intention of paying the claim out.
Booked Montway via uShip to ship my car across country. First Montway called me on the last day of the pickup window and requested an extra $200 because they bid it too low on uShip and also claimed I used another broker and not uShip. Not my problem so I requested to cancel via uShip. Then Montway found a trucker who cancelled the day before pickup and neither the trucking company nor Montway informed me. My car hasn't moved in over 2 weeks because of Montway's under bidding and lack of communication. uShip's customer service department doesn't work on weekends so they can't help, they just collect their $150 and send you to the wolves.
Johnny picked up an old antique rocker that I sent to my brother in ID. We live in the Midwest. Johnny’s communication was spot on. He was here just when he said he would be. He carefully wrapped it in moving blankets and strapped it in. My brother had it within 2 days. I was amazed. He was extremely considerate and very reasonable. I would highly recommend u-ship & Johnny!
Great service, cuts out the broker which sends your load out to carriers for a cheaper price. This can cause delays and bad service. So I am truly a fan of a marketplace that allows you to speak directly to the person that is shipping your item. We had a 43 foot fifth wheel shipped just shy of 100 miles, And this was the best service for the price. Some broker services were competitive, but most of them were trying to get double the price.
My boat and trailer were transported in tact and ahead of schedule. The driver communicated well. The trailer blew a tire. The driver found a replacement without too much delay. I recommend Aquatoys for your transport needs.
