Small, politically incorrect comedy club that delivers an overall enjoyable experience. It was my first comedy club experience. Would have liked them to offer at least some kind of cocktail menu but it's fine, I came to laugh not to drink. When you walk in they lock your phone in some kind of case locker you carry with you that they unlock at the exit. When I asked the bouncer why they do that and he said it's to prevent people from cancelling the comics. Fair play on that part, i get it. I booked tickets an hour before and expected a half empty hall since i noticed it's empty when I reserved a seat but when I arrived the front rows were all filled so it's not a venue many buy tickets for ahead of time, which is nice for those on the fly people. Plus, the tickets are affordable compared to mothership, only $20. I went to the event tonight where the comics perform before and after smoking a joint, so that was a very interesting concept to be a part of.

hello, I am an active listener to the Golden Hour Podcast and we would love to have them perform at your venue very soon. Please consider having one of the best podcast out there, I know it would be a very good turn out and have lots  of us come down to your venue. Thank You for your time.

Went and see Crystal Marie and it was a blast! Great intimate venue, with high ceilings and industrial feel. The comedians were great from start to finish, the headliner of course killed it! Will definitely come back, if the Mothership is full 9which happens very often) Vulcan is the 2nd best option, low key cheaper, and laughter are guarantee!

I recently attended a Bingo Loco, and while the event itself was a blast, the venue itself had a few drawbacks. The dim lighting, especially on the second floor, made it difficult to see and had to use my flashlight on my phone to participate. The narrow, dimly lit staircase was another concern, especially for those who might have been enjoying a few drinks. Another elderly women was also complaining about this as well as we both walked down the stairs together. The bathroom situation was also a bit inconvenient, with only two stalls available for women. Additionally, the venue felt quite freezing, even though the weather outside wasn't particularly frigid. Despite these shortcomings, the overall atmosphere was lively, and the Bingo Loco experience itself was enjoyable. If the venue could improve the lighting, heating, and bathroom facilities, it could truly elevate the experience for future events. Tips for Improvement: * Brighten Up the Space: Improve the lighting, especially on the second floor, to enhance visibility. * Warm Up the Venue: Consider adjusting the heating system to provide a more comfortable environment. * Expand Bathroom Facilities: Increase the number of women's restrooms to avoid long lines. * Staircase Concerns: Upgrade the lighting and handrails on the stairs to make them safer and more accessible.

One of the best comedy clubs in Austin. Also great for private events. Can openly consume herb and get your laugh on.

Waitress just took my card tonight when ordering a drink, didn’t tell me a price or anything, just tipped herself the highest amount and handed the card back to me refusing to show a receipt. This shouldn’t be legal.. On top of that we came pretty early and had tickets only to be seated upstairs without a view, expected to watch the screen instead of stage. Why would I buy tickets if I could have just watched this on TV? Thank God some other couple let us sit at their table and we could see a tiny bit of the performance. Maybe they shouldn’t sell tickets if they can’t accommodate it

This is supposed to be a comedy show but don’t let the staff catch you laughing or clapping or you’ll be told that it’s a warning and if you keep it up you will be asked to leave. Seating is very cramped and unclean, drinks are insanely expensive and staff constantly patrols like prison guards. We left early because the vibe was completely off. Waste of money…

Saw AJ Wilkerson here on 7/18. Getting in the door was a breeze, staff at the doors were helpful and efficient. Phones were locked in cases, we were shown directly to our table and where the bar and bathrooms were. Bartender came by our table upstairs to introduce himself, and came back with waters. Great service! Two pieces of feedback: First, the table seating on the second floor is awkward. If you get there early enough, you can pull your chairs up to the railing for a better view, but each table has 4 seats, and there isn't nearly enough room for all four people from each table to sit at the railing. We ended up shuffling around quite a bit during the openers to accommodate for late arrivals and people who were pissed that they paid for seats and couldn't see. Second: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS.

I attended the Kill Tony show. The show was great! I love listening to the show, but seeing it in person is even better. I bought a VIP table for my boyfriend & I and had a great experience with the service. I did see that if everyone at a table got up and left at once, another group would swoop in and take the table. So just make sure someone is aways at the table. My boyfriend and I had no issues at all, and had a wonderful night. Netherhour is worth staying for. Great musicians and performance.

I Visited the Vulcan maybe 4 or 5 time during covid to see KT and a few sets of JR and friends. I've given it 2 starts for being open during covid and the prices were cheap too. I think it was about 120 for a table of 4. The staff at the Vulcan consistently ruined these shows for me and many others. You would think I was joking when I say it was very common for people to get kicked out for laughing too loud. It was very strange being at comedy shows policing your own laugh out of fear it's too loud or at the wrong time according to Vulcan Gestapo. I remember sitting at the top rail one show asking a stranger sitting at the table next to me to stop talking to me as the staff are crazy here. Sure enough him and his party were kicked out that night. I am so glad the mothership opened so I will never have to deal with the staff at Vulcan again. It's a breathe of fresh air to see Joe didn't hire these people that someone how managed to turn a good thing into hell. I specifically remember 1 staff member Yonder Wizard or something similar being the most insufferable staff member. Edit: I also never received a refund for a William Montgomery Solo show that got cancelled.
