First time at VGC to see LTJ Bukem and expectations were exceeded in every possible way. Outstanding hospitality, epic sound and good vibes all around. Best nightclub experience in memory. Blessings on blessings on blessings 🙏💕🎶
This place is cute. I had a problem with my tickets. That took almost a month to resolve. I get to the venue and they make you sit on a barstool with no back support, or cushion for two hours to watch the show.
Went to a secret show here on a Thursday evening. No pictures because they take your phone and lock it in a bag during the show. Not a big deal to me but for you people that can’t go without your phone just prepare yourself. The lineup was pretty good. A nice mix of some know comedians and some not so much. The lineup was huge, something like 15 comedians that night. Overall a great show! Staff was hit or miss, nothing special or overly helpful. Still a great place to check out for sure.
We purchased tickets to a show a couple of weeks in advance, but when we arrived the place was closed. We received no notification that the show was going to be canceled and no reimbursement or response from anyone in the company yet. I am concerned that this may be a common occurrence with this establishment because a couple of doormen near the Vulcan informed us that this was not the first time this sort of thing has happened. If I receive a response from someone at VGC, I will update to reflect that in my review. *A short time later I was reimbursed for the tickets after reaching out to them on their social media.
We had a sick time last night at "The Kill Tony Regulars"! The peeps at the door were super quick and got us in and seated fast. There ain't a bad seat in the whole place, you can see everything from anywhere. They had a bar right there, easy to grab a drink, or you could just write your order on the ticket and they'd bring it to you. The comedians were hilarious, and the whole vibe was just awesome! We're definitely going back!
The venue was alright but the prices for drinks is outrageous, it's not even a you get what you pay for I charged $26 for a vodka red bull which I understand is a more expensive drink but I've paid less at other places and I got a drink that didn't taste like water bc of the amount of ice vs red bull and vodka. Other friend got charged $40 for 3 beers.
Went here for Bingo Loco - sat down at a table downstairs, I immediately smelt pee in the venue itself. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only 1 or 2 of them had doors that could actually stay shut without someone helping you hold the door. The toilet was overflowing so the bathroom was a swamp. There was no toilet paper, no soap to wash your hands. On top of that, the place was frigid. They are lucky these type of events bring in a crowd. I would never have spent as much as I did there even if it were the last bar on earth. They really need to fix this place up quite a bit.
This club has a very poor sound system. I tried 3 different shows and depending on where you sit, you may not be able to hear anything. In addition, the performances were awful on 2/3 of the shows I attended.
My second time here for an event. First time was a comedy show a few years ago and now was for Bingo Loco. Such a great time! Be ready to earn your bingo win! As far as the venue, only thing to note was that 10% gratuity was already added to my bill without realizing (the lighting is pretty dark), and I ended up tipping another 20% on top of that.
Good time at the KT Regulars show. Staff was accommodating and fun. Some people don’t like the Yondr bags but honestly it was nice to disconnect for two hours. Surprise Hinchcliffe guest spot was fantastic. Would for sure come back.
