Wasn’t quite sure what to expect going in but they saved a pair of Levi’s that I wasn’t sure were save-able. On top of that they are super nice, very cool/knowledgable, and timely. This company stole my money plain and simple. I paid a large amount of money for jeans, this company never produced, after proving they never sent me any jeans (the company initially alleged they had done so), the owner offered to return my money by making payments. It's been nearly a year with $0 returned to me.
Very satisfied with the alterations of my APC selvedge jeans and with the professionalism displayed by Mr. Malone and his staff. Following his suggestions with the tapering and hemming was well worth it. Thank you WGC.
Dealing with Maurice in my efforts to purchase two pair of his custom jeans has been a very disappointing experience. I sincerely regret ever having placed my order. I understand that Covid may have effected the efficiency of his business but not to this extent. Do business with WILLIAMSBURG GARMENT at your own peril. Never Again!
Got the hemming on my jeans. Product was solid, I expected the 2 week wait since it was the holiday season. They kept the cut jeans portion though which I wanted.
Great company to get denim alterations. Very skilled in chain stitch. I trust them to do any alterations.
Please do not use this company. The first time I used them (two months ago)it took them an entire month to do a simple waist alteration job. After ignoring me for weeks, I finally received an update from their owner stating that because they moved to another location and someone quitting…they were behind. ( Not my problem) So I gave them a second chance and unfortunately they still don’t have it together. Their website clearly list the turnaround at 10-14 days. So because of my first experience with this business, I emailed them for an update after 13 business days…no answer. Last Friday I called requested that they return my denim. The guy I spoke to said he would call me back. Suddenly ( five mins after call)I get email confirmation that job was done….lmao Today I received nasty email from WGC advising me that I’m stressing them out and not to order alterations from them again. So unprofessional and arrogant. At this point do you really think I’d do business with you again? How is it appropriate to ignore your customers and not provide services within specified time period? Please also note the job was not finished properly…they took the waist in half an inch larger than requested!!!
I went in to get multiple repairs done on one of my favourote jeans. Not only the quality of the repairs were great, but the in person customer support was stellar. Corinne was very helpful and she was a pleasure to interact with. I would definetely go back for some more repairs. Reasonable prices too!!
A local Tailor, botched a simple hem job on a pair of my logger jeans. I went to four more local tailors and they all had an excuse they didn't have the machine that it whatever. I found Williamsburg on the internet That's how desperate I was to look on the internet there's no phone book no more and they're definitely not local but they did a great job all I had to do was ship it to them, they did the work 100% excellent. Bam they got it done I got my jeans back. And they had shipping options. Unfortunately right now the US postal service is not somebody that I want to trust with my stuff I could I could send my jeans to them using UPS that gave me peace of mind it was worth it. They had a return label all set up so that when my jeans got there they fixed them they put them in a package they put the label on it UPS brought it right back to me. thank you
Highly detail oriented, Williamsburg Garment Company jeans are made with very close attention to the shape of the leg, the quality of the denim, which is simply as good as it gets, and these are made in America! I now own 4 pair and will likely never buy Levi's or any other brand again. The design sensibilities are exemplary, and it is a truly American story ( a guy with passion for design and style works his butt off for years and has shown his merit). Hats off!
