the check out people are snobs they are way overpriced and their device is horrible! I don't think I will be shopping there again! and it makes me think twice weather I am going to renew my Amazon Prime membership or not.

It's my go-to for gourmet, prepared food, and other exotic items. This is an upscale grocery in an upscale area and you will not have Costco pricing by any means although that can be had at the either Safeway location in downtown or the Target City.

We were told this place has not only groceries but premade food - and that premade food was GREAT! Perfect spot for a quick bite. We also happened to meet the owner and what a treat! Good conversation, good food, excellent coffee! We are from out of town and are planning on going there before we leave to take some of the great selection of groceries home with us. Love that this is a small business and you will not be disappointed in supporting them!

One of my favorite hobbies is exploring gourmet food stores and this is hands down my favorite right now. Many of the products sold here are legitimately the world’s best, from gold-medal, award-winning chocolates (like Friis Holm and Fuwan), to a well-curated selection of intl. olive oils, to fancy tinned fish. I can’t say enough about this place but it’s my wonderland. Can’t wait to come back here and this time I’m moving in 😂.

one of a kind store! fresh food, ready-made breakfasts, lunches and dinners! top notch staff! prices, as before under capitalism, are not corrupted by the ideas of socialism. who will be nearby come in and see how cool everything is here!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of fresh meals, baguettes (with olives!), pastries, salads en soup. There is even room to sit ouitside the terrace or inside the store. My go-to supermarket when I'm visiting Portland.

My sister and I dropped in for some snacks before our train commute home and were greeted with excellent hospitality. An employee immediately made sure we were finding what we were looking for, and even offered us snack samples. We left with some local-to-Oregon snacking nuts and a positive experience. Also one of the most esthetically pleasing produce sections I've ever seen. Will definitely visit again when in town!

I'm in Portland for only 3 nights and I was here twice during that time. I came for breakfast and had the ham and brie rolls and a cold brew (their coffee is fantastic!) and I came for lunch the next day and had the sumac potatoes and the roast beef. It's home-style cooking at its best. The staff is super friendly and if you're ordering from the deli, you'll have to pay at the cash register, so no tipping system in place. Most of the food is Lebanese in origin but there's also a lot of variety. I can't recommend this place enough! Their baklava is also worth trying.

Came across the downtown World Foods on a slow late-morning Sunday. Lovely elevated grocery with a hard-to-pass-by coffee and wine bar—so, that’s where I landed. Love the bar atmosphere: welcoming, woodsy, quiet, touch of retro. Ordered a caffe latte and berry scone. Good. Service: Indifferent Will go back to try a wine experience (then grocery shopping—what's not to love?).

World Foods has a really nice, large selection of fresh veggie and deli items. It’s a little on the expensive side, but the quality is great and the selection makes it worth it. Stopped in to get some snacks while visiting Portland. Always fun to walk through and find different items we don’t have at home.
