I discovered this lovely grocer a few years ago on a visit to Portland. We stayed there again this past month and again wandered into this space. There is a wine bar, there is an espresso bar, there is a cheese counter, but exploring the aisles and looking at all their international goods is also very fun. We visited our first day in Portland and loaded up a bag of snacks for our hotel room. The last day in Portland, we got a little bite and sat at a table inside the restaurant before heading out to the airport. The orange 🍊 juice machine looked really cool, but we were not in a juice mood. Tin fish seems to be the rage right now and there is a great selection of that as well.

While waiting to transfer to Eugene, I stumbled upon an amazing gem in the pearl District- World Food !! A smaller and more authentic version of Whole Foods. The Mediterranean was featured at this time and the spanakopita and Spinach Savory Pie was reminiscent of my travels to the Greek Islands. The smell and aroma took me back to Istanbul. Portland is blessed to have such a place for over 20 years!

Mouth watering delicious poke - BY THE POUND! This place is a MUST visit if you are looking for some of the highest quality Poke in Portland. Prices are equivalent to what you would find in Hawaii and the quality is outstanding. I will be coming here regularly for my Poke cravings.

Great spot- best deli counter, coffee bar in the Pearl, perhaps all of Portland. Steve at the coffee and beer counter always has a curated list of 5-5 taps w great range and impeccable quality. Happy hour pints til 7 give an added star for value!

I'm mostly writing this review for the coffee shop inside. Coffee came out quick and great! Alternative milk was not an extra charge and in an economy that's hostile to lactose intolerant folks small things like that are great. That area is dense with coffee and I'd definitely rank this higher than other shops around.

Cute shop, highly priced goods but that’s usual for a small local market. This review is more for the coffee— My Vietnamese coffee tasted literally like just watered down ice and milk.... I actually question if there’s coffee in it. Perhaps she forgot to add? And if anyone’s had Vietnamese coffee before, you know it is STRONG. Sorry, this was not it!

Very nice place to shop groceries. You will get local food and fruits at reasonable rates. They also have a small section for Indian food brands. Nice to visit.

The manager of this store truly made my day today. I had purchased some baklava, but unfortunately, it had absorbed the smell of the refrigerator, so I decided to return it. Not only did the manager accept the return without any problem, but he also kindly offered me a different baklava that hadn’t been kept in the fridge. He explained that the baklava had only recently been placed in the refrigerator and assured me that they would take steps to avoid refrigerating it in the future, as it tends to absorb other smells. I not only received a full refund for my original purchase, but I was also given the opportunity to try the fresh baklava, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. I'm very grateful for the manager’s kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this store — great service and a wonderful experience!

A dangerous place for foodies. The worst part was they were cooking in the deli and I want to eat what they were cooking. Excellent chocolate selection
