As a woman of color, I was treated differently, and it showed. I went into the fitting room with just three items, and an employee scanned every one of them. I then watched two other women, who had even more clothes to try on, walk into the fitting rooms without having anything scanned. I was told my clothes had to be scanned. As a woman of color, seeing that difference made me feel singled out. I won’t be shopping at Zara again. Never again

I came to the store on 23rd May and I was about to try out a couple clothes, they specially asked my boyfriend to step out of the area by the dressing rooms and no one else was asked to do that in that area, felt extremely singled out and ruined my experience. I was also the only brown person in that area so that may have very well contributed to this. I’m never coming to this store again due to unprofessional and racist behavior of making their customers feel awkward.

Great location and spacious layout, but long checkout lines I recently visited the Zara at 222 Broadway (Financial District), right next to St. Paul’s Chapel and the Fulton Transit Center. It’s super easy to get to, whether you’re walking or hopping off the 4/5/6, R or PATH trains . This Zara is huge—around three floors—and the layout feels modern and well-organized, especially upstairs where it’s brighter and more open . The staff seem low in number, though: the checkout area splits the space in half, and my line wound tightly through the store—felt especially cramped during a weekday lunch rush (). 👍 Pros: • Convenient FiDi location at 222 Broadway, Financial District  • Three spacious floors stocked with the new seasonal collection ($20–200 range)  • Modern design, self-checkout options, and pickup services via the app  👎 Cons: • Long lines at registers—especially around midday on weekdays  • Some shoppers noted inconsistent sizing across items  📅 Hours (subject to change): • Mon–Tue: 10 AM – 8 PM • Wed–Thu: up to 9 PM • Sun: 10 AM – 8 PM  (Waze lists slightly varied times—Mon–Fri 9:30 AM–9 PM; Sat 10 AM–9 PM; Sun 11 AM–8 PM ().) ⸻ 🛍️ Final take: A stylish, well-stocked Zara in a super accessible spot—perfect for grabbing office-friendly pieces or weekend outfits. I prefer this location to the others in the city because the service is MUCH nicer. Today Samuel helped me and he is smart, patient, intuitive, good at the job, and knowledgeable of product and how to work with customers and management. This is how all employees should be! I will continue to lean towards visiting this location.

Not enough registers are open, the employees just don’t care, and nobody does anything about it. You end up standing in line for over an hour. Why should I, as someone paying full price for my groceries, have to put up with this? Terrible service.

As a shopper of Zara for years. I’m mid 20s and this has been a staple in my Wardrobe since I’ve been a teenager. I usually leave after work and come to the financial district to which was my favorite Zara nicknamed “222”. Today I had the worst experience of my life and that store and I really want to expose the manager Monica. She is nasty, Rude, Does not know how to treat customers, And from what I can tell her staff as well. Monica is very miserable. Monica has an attitude problem. It is beyond me for as many years as I’ve been Experienced something so disgusting in my life I am literally shaking. It’s not Zara can’t find anywhere else to work so now she’s suffering and is taking it out on financial district at this point. The other ladies that work at this location are dream girls. Salina is amazing. This is my second review where I have mentioned that she is truly helpful anytime. They are so sweet and very helpful. I can’t believe i came across someone as rude and bitter as Monica. I also want to note when I went to go try on my clothes at the fitting room. The first thing that she screamed in my face was that she’s the manager and she’s not letting me try on my clothes.. Nothing happened before this incident was closed the fitting room, which is no problem, but the way that she spoke to me made me feel so low. I did not approach her in the way I should’ve. It’s okay i go to this location once a week I’m sure I’ll see her fried jet black hair near some jeans that’s on my wishlist. Sending love to all of the ladies that work at this location and I’m so sorry that you have to deal with Monica.

Not worth the 30 min you spend waiting in line. I was just in the store and sent to 3 different registers. Not worth it!

Alaysia was an amazing help and she helped me piece out a wonderful out for New Years !!!! She took her time with me and I appreciate it to the fullest. The store overall was amazing and clean.

Mailin is really talented at putting outfits together, and she hopes people notice. She's very kind and respectful, which I truly admire. I love her positive energy! 10/10

ALAYSIA was calm, smooth, patient, professional and so helpful in my retrieval of E receipt and exchange of an item ALL the while navigating a long line of not so kind not so patient return exchange customers. All the stars to ALAYSIA ! PS In my eagerness to leave I left behind a personal item, it was secured for me. I retrieved it two days later. Again 10/10 thanks ALAYSIA, 222 Broadway and Happy Holidays.
