I called twice to pickup some medical equipment that had been delivered to a resident there (who passed away). The first 2 times I called, the girl in the office said that she would forward my message to the team at the apartment community. After no response to those 2 phone calls, I called a third time and was told that they could not help me. The girl said that they don't own that building...I asked why she told me that they did own it the first two times I called? She said, "I'm sorry, I can't help you". My company has lost $800 worth of medical equipment. Dear Aion management, I would need a phone number to call...
I wish I could leave zero stars. I have contacted this company in every way given. They have been holding my deposit hostage for 60 days even though our final inspection paperwork shows that we took great care of the apartment. At this point I've had to contact a lawyer for them to listen and its still been a headache. Do not rent for these people!!
If I could give zero stars, i would. The communication is terrible!!! My husband and i have lived at Meridian North apartments since last October. The past 4 weeks we have been out of our apartment because of poor management and poor maintenance. NO AC, we had electrical surges for three weeks, so no refrigerator, had to throw out ALL of our food. Nobody even offered to compensate us for anything. On top of all of this there is MOLD in the utility closet due to a water leak that we had asked to get fixed multiple times! I am pregnant and cannot be around that! I could not even get them to give me the cooperate phone number. We have been couch surfing and are over all the stress and being ignored. At this point, we just want to move out and terminate our lease. My husband waited two hours to talk to someone today after already having a scheduled appointment at 11:30. If something is not done in our favor we will be contacting the health department and a lawyer.
Too bad there isn't a minus star rating. I would give Aion a minus for sure. I have been living in my apartment for 15 years and since Aion has acquired the property it has gone down so much. We have in our courtyard area, a patio that has lights that are supposed to go on at night. However, most of the bulbs have been out since April. I have requested that they be replaced, but they just ignore it, or I am told that it isn't in the budget. Usually the leasing office both outside and inside are decorated for Christmas. There are no decorations in sight. I again was told that Aion would not give money to pay for decorations. It gets better, as tenants we pay for all utilities, water, sewer, gas, heat and hot water. Aion bills us on a statement showing what we as tenants owe them for these items, but they provide no backup for the charges. According to the NJ law, Aion is supposed to show the tenants what THEY are paying so we can see that we as tenants are reimbursing Aion, and that Aion is not profiting from these charges(which is illegal in NJ). These people cannot be trusted and run a shady business. DO NOT move into any property they own.
Literally the worst company. I was going to rent out from one of their properties. I got lied to multiple times, so I decided to cancel a month and a half before my move in date (they were still working on the apartment I was going to move into that I never viewed). When I cancelled they sent me an email asking me to pay an extra 85 as a “move out fee” even though I never moved in. I had paid for the background check and put 200 dollars to hold the apartment (which they stated would be given back to me since I didn’t view the apartment, but never was). This is a terrible company who steals your money.
I lived in Cosmopolitan until June 2022. I have been trying to get in touch with management in the Cosmopolitan building and they have not returned my calls or responded to my emails for 29 days now. I have even spoke to people who informed me they have sent a teams message to Jennifer the manger so she can return my call and still nothing. I have documentation of multiple emails and have left messages with employees and off site answering service for cosmopolitan at this point.
I have been since last summer of 2023 to receive my deposit. I sent several email to different persons and nobody has the time to solve a mistake in the ledger. They are charging me a rent money. When we already paid everything. To get our deposit back. This is in Franklin commons in Bensalem.
I have lived here at Metro Pointe Apts, Baltimore MD for almost 9 years now. Never used to have problems until Aion Management took over this property. I have called and left 7 messages over 6 days for the property manager and not 1 returned phone call now they tacked on an extra $105 to my account because there is an error but I can't get a returned phone call to have it corrected. Turn over in staff is crazy. Someone new every time you walk in that office. My unit has been infested with mice for 2 months now. I have killed 8 already and I call the office to have the exterminator come out and they literally forget to put me on the list so now it's going on 3 weeks without treatment. I have never experienced such poor service, filthy environment, broken security doors, broken mailboxes. My mailbox has been broke for 8 months. This is unreal that I have to write a review in hopes of a response. And you provide a number to call you on all reviews and it goes straight to voice mail also with no returned call.
The management and particularly the manager at the North Wales location is absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful of the tenants privacy. After particular request to not enter the apartment for a regular maintenance to ensure the safety of a pet, they put no heed to the request. They expect the tenants to respect the management but absolutely refuse to listen. If you have little kids or pets at home you should not rent at this property.
I applied to a property they manage in Indianapolis for a specific floor plan that met my move in needs and where I wanted to be for a price on Friday, 7/16. I was then asked to submit documents to continue the application process on Monday, 7/19. Later that afternoon I was called and told that I lost the apartment because I did not pay the $200.00 reservation fee. However during the application process I was never prompted to pay more than the $50.00 application fee. I will admit I was very frustrated because I had done my part via your online system and I’m in a time crunch to move into an apartment. The next morning I check the website and the same floor plan I was told was unavailable was back on the website. So I applied, again, and paid the $200.00 as I had been instructed to do to hold the apartment. I was then informed that this apartment should not have been on the website, that maintenance cannot get it ready in time. So I was told one day it was not available because I didn’t put a hold on it and the next day I’m told that it’s a maintenance issue. There is clearly a lack of communication between the leasing staff and future residents of what units are available, etc. It is also clearly acceptable to lie as well. Currently this property does not have any apartments available to meet my needs and the on site staff is refusing to refund any of the money. I have reached out to the on-site staff several times and corporate who just forwards it on to the property… who clearly does nothing. REFUND THE MONEY.
