First time having ox tail in pho and I can say pho sure it’s incredible. The meat was tender and flavorful and the broth was equally as good. Good amount of noodles in the bowl too. We also had the pandan cake too which apparently is only served on weekends. Highly recommend that as a dessert! The passion fruit adds a nice tart to it.
the food at ba bar is very good. I got the spicy pork belly from the rotisserie menu with an egg. the pork was cooked and seasoned properly, the dipping sauce was nice. comes sith rice and veggies. overall the flavor was great, however i did not like the vietnamese donut. it tasted like fried dough, i didn’t find anything special in there. the service was great. we were seated and treated properly. the server was patient and knowledgeable. the food was out quickly and the server checked us out pretty quickly as well. no complaints there. the atmosphere was good. it’s set in SLU with a lot of corporate building around. you will find a couple of large tables as well for a bigger party. overall, i found ba bar to be an excellent place for a corporate or casual lunch. would recommend to locals.
great ambience🤌🏼, amazing staff, and the miso eggplant was legitimately the best eggplant I’ve ever had. got a glass of white during happy hour (mon-sat 2-5pm), and just had a lovely time. can’t wait to come back and try more of their food and signature cocktails!
We’ve been to other Ba Bar locations before, but our first visit to the spot in SLU. Food was tasty as expected. We particularly enjoyed the garlic noodle (dish on the right) and the eggplant (dish on top). Half of the restaurant seemed closed off due to covid, but plenty of space for a Saturday lunch.
We had Pho Tai Lan and Pho Ha Noi Style both were very flavorful. The music and atmosphere were very pleasant as well. All in all it's a lovely corner Cafe to meet with good friends. Oh, and they have plenty of Gluten free options.
It was my first time at this restaurant, but it's my daughters favorite place, place was clean and well maintained, nicely designed and decorated, great customer service, delicious food, specifically came for oxtail pho 😋, definitely will be back.
I went here with my family and absolutely loved the food, ambiance, and service. The cocktails were solid. We ordered a bunch of different veg dishes to share. Tofu rolls were so-so, Korean fried rice was delicious, but Laksa was the star of the show. They also have a cute vegan dessert display in the front…will have to try it next time.
I’m in love with a bun salad at this restaurant. Dumplings are on the menu from Monday to Friday and they’re a little chewy but delicious. Easy to eat vegetarian here-there are many options!
Not bad if you're wanting a Vietnamese fixin's. I thought the Bun Bo Hue was 6.5/10, worth the try if you haven't had it as an introduction to Vietnam's 2nd most popular noodle dish.
Very nice decor and Lo-Fi hip hop playlist make for a place you want to stay and socialize for hours. Very polite service and the ramen pho plays like a symphony across the tongue harnessing the wholesome filling fullness of ramen noodles, perfect rich hybrid broth and choice of the best toppings from each that don't ruin the others half of the bowl.
