We tried the 3 items on the menu that we hadnt had before. That is, the fried oysters, shrimp chips, and chicken salad. They were all a bit bland in my book. The coconut frozen slushie was good, but small. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was excellent with the windows opened. Still, I think I like the Cap hill location better.

By far one of the tastiest Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to. We ordered the Asian eggplant with green onion oil and fresh mint as an appetizer followed by vegetarian vermicelli with spinach wrapped tofu and shiitakes. The vermicelli was fresh and flavorful. I’ll be back. 😋

Delicious fare!! I tried the Vietnamese cold coffee - I’d recommend it! I tried the vegan curry with ramen noodles - I really loved it too!! 😋 The service was quick and pleasant! I’d consider stopping by here again when meeting a colleague or just grabbing a meal by myself!

Food and service was good. The small team worked precisely together to service many tables. Had the oxtail pho and it had a more herbal smelling soup than meat base, which was interesting. Tasted great, but for some reason the pho noodles got cut into tiny bits so was weird to eat. Decor was different from pho places in CA.

Another great find of the city! Nice environment, good service, and yummy Vietnamese food! I had the bun bo hue and I’d say it’s pretty delicious compared to the ones I’ve had in the past! The vermicelli (no soup) noodles also looked really good on the menu and I’d love to try in the future🥺

Loved this place! The food was excellent. The waiter was excellent. There were a few things one the menu that were new to us and he helped with instructions on the proper way to eat. He also gave us general seattle recs after our meal. Plus the sweet and sour ramen was on point.

We stayed at the Moxy and walked over, which was really nice. There is outdoor seating that allows dogs, but no water bowls and the server never offered to bring a bowl of water out. The food did come out quickly, and it was pretty good. The pho was cooked well, but the overall serving size was a little small and the lack of hoisin and sriracha on the table was a small turnoff.

I've tried Ba Bar many times and I've never been disappointed! Today I tried their chicken wings and eggplants along with 2 cocktails. Chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. It was warm and tender inside. Roasted garlic is a nice touch. Eggplants were super flavorful with Chao sauce and green onion oil with mint on top. Flying lotus cocktail had star spice on it so if you don't like strong-smelling spice, may not be for you. One time for your mind cocktail is matcha-based. It was a bit on the sweeter side, probably due to the honey whip. I loved it and would get this again. Service was fast and friendly. We were sat within 5 minutes on a Saturday night.

Heard the oxtail Pho was what made the place famous. It wasn't bad but honestly I feel like a small mom and pop would do better in terms of flavor. This Pho tasted rushed and quick serve, like they just keep things on the side and just dump it in a bowl and hand it to you. Presentation was a rush job. The broth was OK, but the oxtail itself barely had flavor. The vermicelli noodles our group had was OK. Everyone rated their food a 6 out of 10 afterwards. The servers and such are great, but we'll find better Pho elsewhere.

I tried the Lemongrass Ginger Peach Tea this time and it was amazing 🤩 I didn't see the drink on the regular menu but it's on their online menu under NA (non-alcoholic) drinks. It was delicious. I also had a small bowl of their Pho broth and a Happy Hour order of their famous wings, I highly recommend those two items as well.
