I initially came here, having been told they serve Mi Quang; they do not, but they still delivered a great meal. The bun bo hue tasted just as good as what I had in Vietnam, and the passionate panda cake was wonderful. I had an 'old phoshion' out of curiosity, and it was good but not nearly as different from an old fashioned as I'd imagined/hoped. My wife greatly enjoyed her vermicelli combo, and both friends with us greatly enjoyed their dishes as well. I had a taste of the sweet potato laksa one of them ordered, and it was phenomenal. I'll definitely be keeping this place in mind when I'm in the area even though they don't have Mi Quang.
Ambiance here is very nice for casual and/or business lunches. The food is consistently good. I almost always get something different every time I go. Highly recommend!
Stopped in for a quick lunch and left very satisfied. This place smells good from the outside and tastes even better. The service was great and food came out quickly, hot and fresh! I would definitely come back here whenever I’m in Seattle again!
Relax and very welcoming atmosphere. Good food and good service, drinks is a little pricey for this kind of restaurant, old fashioned at $15 and $9 for a glass of wine(happy hour price). I think this is my 3 rd time here and I really like the ambience. Will come back again…
It was my first time going and I loved the crispy imperial rolls. They are so freaking good. For lunch I got Singaporean Noodle and it came with chicken and shrimp. I wasn't a fan but I've never had it before. I will go back to try their pho dip steak sandwich. It looks so freaking good.
LOVE this place! A lot of options for a pescatarian. I love the rockfishes and the crab meat spaghetti. Only downside: there's always a 10min wait.
I think I generally have high tolerance on restaurant services, but my first dine-in experience at Ba Bar has been one of the worst! One of my friends was feeling tired that day, so he decided to lean down and play on his phone for a bit to rest while we were eating our dinner. Our waiter secretly called in his manager, and the manager rudely said “there’s one Washington law that you cannot SLEEP at restaurants”. Since it was my birthday, we did not want to cause more disagreements on this, so my friend decided to sit up straight at the table and then we quickly finished up that unpleasant dinner. First, after the fact check, there’s no law in Washington about sleeping in restaurants. Second, we don’t know how they define “SLEEP”. Third, the manager’s rude tone and the way he delivered the message are absolutely not acceptable. We definitely not going back anymore, for this service.

Had a phenomenal experience at Babar recently. Was served by the lovely Sara who was just a delight as a server. She helped me navigate the cocktail menu and pick drinks that were tailored to what I was looking for and I loved all of the cocktails I tried. She highly recommended the wings and they did not disappoint - some of the best wings I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for more wings soon and I heard they have a great deal for wings on Mondays and Tuesdays. To top off my experience I had a wonderful light chocolate creme dessert with coconut shavings ontop - delectable. Couldn’t have more good things to say about my experience. As good as the food and drinks were, they were overshadowed by how amazing and bubbly my server Sara was - she is a gem! And very nice on the eyes. I’ll be back very soon!
The food here are AMAZING !!! We order Rotisserie Chicken (comes with 3 big chunks of breast meat, side of rice and pickled vegetables), Combo Rice Bowl, and Xiu Mai (4 beef meat balls in tomato-bread soup and side of French bread) and they all are wiped clean from our plates. We are back 2nd time after a few days, this time we got Duck, repeat the Chicken, and something Ha Noi tray (sorry it's not my order, but u should be able to tell if u r here with a menu) and whole Coconut - something makes me nostalgia about my childhood. Again, everything is delicious and prompt setvice Everything in the menu sounds delicious, definitely recommend: spacious ample modern Vietnamese space, friendly staff, food served quick.
